I think once you get used to using a case, it feels awkward going naked because it feels so thin and light. I feel like the case provides better grip too. However, once I start using it naked and get used to THAT feeling, I don't want to use a case on the phone again. BUT i always go back to a case because it just makes me feel more secure.

Caseless with a glass screen protector and maybe a skin on the back (really like the feel of the bare aluminum back)

We'll see you all back here in a few weeks once you drop your phone and decide to put a case on.

Yes, then my phone would look exactly like the millions of other iPhone 5 with a fully protected case ;)

Let me tell you a story. I have a pristine Palm Tungsten. I put a screen protector and a case on it from day 1. I never got to enjoy the thing the way it was designed, and I never will now because it's obsolete.

If a large part of what you pay for is the exterior design, then what happens when you cover it up? Would you bubble wrap your car so that it doesn't get dinged in the parking lot?

I always go caseless :D

The one time I installed a screen protector on my iPhone 4 I dropped it from about 4 ft. and it landed on the screen when I turned it over the screen was completely shattered. So I stopped using screen protecters as well.

I've been caseless since I've gotten my white iPhone 5. So far no scratches or blemishes. I love how this phone looks naked!!!

However, my SGP Snow Series in Satin Silver just came in the mail today. I installed it and it looks really nice. It's got a nice tight fit and the silver bumper blends nicely with the aluminum back of the white iPhone. I'm hoping that it will provide just a little more protection in case of that inadvertant drop.

I also have a BodyGuardz Pure Glass screen protector coming in the mail. We'll see how this all works together.

Had the original iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 4 and had cases on all of those but with my iphone 5 I just couldn't leave on any cases without thinking of taking them off. So I just went and got AppleCare + and a bestskinsever skin. Loving it so far.

Funny, same here.

After using cases like yourself for all these years, I keep taking them off my new 5.

Carbon fiber PhantomSkinz only for me.

I used to always use Seidio holsters, but the new shape and the way their snap-in holsters are made, it doesn't work as well. The top doesn't snap in easily. They actually now come with instructions to tell you how to load and unload. No go for me...

Now looking for lightweight holster case. I don't put mine in my pocket. Need ready access being a doctor.

Don't forget also with Applecare+ you can get a refund if you get a new phone in a year. So if you only use the AppleCare+ for one year, then get the next iphone, Iphone 5s, or whatever it may be, you get refunded the other year of apple care minus 10%. So you would get $45 back. I know I always sell my phone after a year and get the new one, so for me it would cost me $50 for the replacement if I break it, plus the $55 cost of Applecare+ for the year for a total of $105.
