WOW, you are a genius. S-IPS > S-PVA
This board is absolutely ridiculous.

It is. Especially when both parties are equally wrong / one-sided. And that is mighty ridiculous.

ya, it's not really that helpful if you don't really know what you're talking about, not saying that I do, but thats why I'm asking people who know more than me, I'm probably going for dell as I'm not doing any color work. I'm just 15 and only want it for web browsing, video work, photo stuff, a little, but nothing professional, thanks for those of you who are being helpful.

The monitor has good adjustment and good image uniformity. While I'd dispute ceres's claims since I do have some luminance variations - the four I do have are nevertheless less 'patchy' than some of my ACD's (mind you, I have far more ACD's of varying age / continuous use than the 2707's) for much of the screen and of course connectivity that the ACD can't match. Forget those who say it's TN, etc. The panel is decent.

I posted a while back about sitting back, and that's the only major thing that could be 'wrong' about it. As for the 'graininess' of the display due to the larger size, well some people are forgetting that the dot pitch is the same as a regular 19" monitor. Do people bitterly complain about the dot pitch difference between a 17" and a 19"? No. It's not an issue. It just looks bigger, that's all. The size does mean however that you are entering 30" head-moving territory though. With a 23/24", eye movement is usually enough to scan the whole screen. With a 2707, you'll notice moving your head a little more, even if you sit back. One of the reasons I still prefer the 23/24 - which are not, N.B. ceres, vastly inferior or even better than the 2707 - although as a sole monitor, the 27" might be a better choice if you're mainly entertainment orientated.
