A thoroughly enjoyable activity; some excellent choices made as to verbs selected and used. Great fun.

I'd imagine that both GGJstudios and Traverse managed a far larger collection of April 'push button' verbs than I managed (although I did set about - and succeeded in - collecting quite a few)

We're glad you enjoyed the April1 surprise.

We've had requests to continue seeing the extra reply buttons, so for another day you can change the Style drop-down at the bottom of the page to MacRumors Forums (April 1, 2015) to revive the feature.

I Screen Shot 2015-04-02 at 11.00.40 AM.PNG your generosity in giving us this option!

Awesome! I will

my collection is now up to 59 post buttons and counting! :D

I'm still waiting for the "pontificate" button. I feel like I do a lot of that sometimes :)

I don't know why, but every time I see, read, or hear the word "pontificate", I picture Bill Cosby from 30 years ago, and end up craving a Jello Pudding Pop.

BL.

The forum surprise has ended.

Does anyone (GGJstudios, redheeler, Scepticalscribe, Traverse, ...) want to share their collection?

Sure! I have some more, in addition to the ones already posted. There's a max of 5 attachments per post, right?

Select a bunch of image files that you have saved in a folder, use Quick Look to display them in a matrix, then do a screen capture. One image, many buttons.

Yes, that's what I did before. Takes a bit more time, but I'll get it done.

Good idea :)

Congratulations GGJstudios

For finding and posting the WIN CONTEST! button, GGJstudios won a Contest Winner badge

under his user title as long as the forums run under vBulletin.

It's ironic that GGJstudios never ran into the congratulate.gif button!

Now that the extra verbs are gone, we can all go back to our normal habits, clicking the reply.gif button when we want to bloviate.gif or equivocate.gif or obfuscate.gif!

Actually, I had spotted the button which contained the verb 'Obfuscate' (what a wonderful verb) during the cascade of verbs on April 1, but sadly, must confess to having missed 'Equivocate' (another of my personal favourites) and, to be honest, I very much doubt that I have seen 'Obviate' used outside of the Harry Potter series.

And, 'Bloviate'? Gorgeous…..

Congrats to GGJStudios.
