It does, compared to the 6. The plus is pushing more pixels on the same hardware. FACT. It's like the iPad 3 all over again. Do research on it.
This is absurd. The 6 plus has no lag. That's the problem with this forum; people spew about stuff they know nothing about to make them feel better about their purchase.

If you love the 6, good for you. No one has anything against you for getting a 6.

Yeah I've been thinking the people bashing it just aren't used to a phone this size or are trying to justify the 6 that they purchased instead. Either way you slice it, the 6plus is the winner in terms of everything it offers.

Offerings, and specs, yes, but I found that the 6+ was really hurting my wrists and forearm from use.

Ergonomically off for me personally, as well as my friend testing mine, but I'm glad for you guys who are happy with the device. The 6 is a much better fit for me, but I wouldn't push my decision on others.

It also gives you a rash in your nether regions. Something to do with the bending and the large surface in contact with your skin. Something like that.

OMG... I almost spit out my water onto my computer monitor!!!

That. Was. Hilarious.... :D

I used both side by side for 2 days and decided on the 6+. Apple really did an amazing job with this phone. The screen is incredible, the camera is jaw dropping and the battery life is amazing. I have never had a phone that latest all day and into the next day! Even with heavy use this phone lasts a long time. I like the way the 6 feels, but after using solely the 6+ for the last week i have gotten use to it.

Cannot understand the need every day for someone to post a thread proclaiming what phone they are getting or why I love whatever phone they bought.

As the voice of reason I would suggest the people starting these threads for whichever phone they have are the ones validating their purchase.

It goes both ways. Silly and no one truly gives a crap which phone you like or why I decided to purchase it. The only reason for me to start a thread on the subject is in the sad hope my forum brethren will come and tell me I made the right choice.

Think before starting anymore threads like this.

It's real world feedback. I don't need justification for choosing either, but it's nice to hear feedback from consumers vs reviews on which is the best choice.

I got a 6+.

I like the big screen. I like the camera.

It's easy to justify the purchase because it was the only viable option.

This is a forum, and particularly a sub forum section to discuss all things related to iPhone.
Many people were on the fence about why they chose a particular model.
If there wasn't anyone who cared, you wouldn't find members in this thread, posting in it.

Definitely going with iPhone 6+

Would you say it's a bit overkill if every thread says the same thing?

Everyone that loves the 6+ loves the beautiful screen, the pictures, the extra battery.

Everyone that loves the 6 loves the portability, the snappiness, the camera and the extra battery life from older models.

No matter which camp you're in every thread says the same things. Do people really need to read the same thing every day with new threads?

Let me know if I'm off base.

That is how I was able to get my 6 Plus. Keep checking from time to time during the day too. I noticed phones show up all thorugh the day at different stores. They don't last long. it took me a few days to luck out and grab one at my local Apple Store. Good luck.

Yea I kept checking the site and it was unavailable so I decided to go to the store to get a 6 only to find out they have a 16gb 6+. I quickly got one that, I do have to return it for a 64GB when its available tho.
