Unless the SG/SS black supply was completely depleted in 0-10 minutes, I almost guarantee we will see Wednesday charges and shipments. I have ever bit of faith that the watches are already at the distribution centers. Just makes perfect business sense. They've been making these watches for almost 7 months now. They've had plenty of time to prepare and expected this type of build up and excitement. Its been a heck of ride in this thread!

I wanna die now seeing all these people with 3:04 AM confirmations who have been charged and order is preparing to ship when i was at 3:01 AM and have nothing
I feel your pain, I've seen people with like a time at least 20 minutes after mine who are in that "preparing for shipment" stage
That would be wonderful if it's true. I need to take some melatonin so I can actually sleep.
P.S. , am I the only one that looks at the blank area of my wrist and imagines having the watch there? or am I just delusional?

It sure seems like a lot of the watches that have moved to prepared to ship are 42s I know that there have been some 38s. Just my observation. I used to work at Apple and the launches were never this stressful for me I guess because I never was able to order right at launch.

Got the 'Prepared for Shipment' at 5:01PM and 5:03PM ET, and almost 5 hours later, nothing in the profile. Then again, I've got some real old equipment and sold off serial numbers in that profile, removing them now.
I leave the forum for like 4 hours and the thread adds like 50+ pages. Sooo it looks like some people have started to be charged, and have had some status changes...

38mm Sport White, 3:06am EDT is preparing to ship, however.
Hoping they are processing the ones that have to travel further from the distribution center first (so they can pack the truck in delivery order) and those of us closer will see a change by tomorrow, Wednesday at the latest, to put us out of our misery
I ordered one as a separate band for my ss - think of it this way, if it's really unpopular, Apple will stop making them quickly, and then we'll have a limited edition band.

Yeah man, i am in Pennsylvania and have had no luck. 3:01 AM is the quickest confirmation you can get and still nothing. a tad disappointed, or I may be going crazy
I did. I too ordered right at 12:01 AM using the Apple app on my iPhone 6 Plus. Had the 42mm Sport Space Gray in my favorites and immediately added it to my cart and checked out using Apple Pay. All was done within the first 30 seconds the store went back up. I live in Stockton CA.
I may be preaching to the choir, but from what I can tell, there isn't a single watch type with a black sports band that has been prepped to ship yet.
Considering that all of the demo watches at the store are 42mm SS w/ black sports bands, I assume that their supply chain folks estimated the most orders for those. These black sports band devices may already be on their way to distribution centers in the USA (or already here), and will simply ship later than those that have to be expedited from Shenzhen.
Just my 2cents (I know this isn't news, just felt like repeating what I think is up to)

Yeah, I ordered the pink first at 12:06PDT and got the 5-13-5-27. Since I was going to buy an extra green band, I ordered the green at 12:25PDT and that one is prepared for shipping. I feel your pain!

No! You actually ordered 3 minutes before me. Mine was in pacific and yours is in eastern - same time. I got the 38mm. Once my green has a tracking number, I'm going to cancel my pink - as I'll just get the extra pink band and have choices!
