Delivery Dates 4/24-5/8

Guess I'm in the "-"

No movement on my Apple Watch (Space Gray Sport) while so many in the 4/24-5/8 group have received AMEX charges and are "Preparing for Shipment." Being stuck in the "-" is like purgatory...a one minute difference between launch day and a week (or more) later - that's sad...:( :mad:
 
Mine is still processing.# Called and was told again that I should get it Friday.

Alaska is a stopping point. By going through Alaska from their origin, they fly about 150 miles further than stopping in California, but are able to hold more cargo, thus resulting in more profit and enabling them to take that additional cost. Louisville, Tennessee, and Kentucky are all major shipping ports, but UPS uses louisville as their "main" one and it is the one that most apple products have traveled through in past launches.

Also, Apple has many connections and most likely has them approved by customs either before they take off from Alaska/manufacturing plant, or they are approved at the shipping hub in the US.

Its all speculation, but its positive thinking.
P.S. i used to work at UPS so i know their logistical thinking, and cost management.
 
has anyone gotten shipping yet? or just Preparing?


i know, i know - there are people who haven't gotten preparing to ship yet, dont take that out on me, im just curious to know how long they 'prepare'
 
Hey I'm new here! So hello to everyone else that is just as obsessed as me! I was hoping to wake up and see my order status changed....nooooope! My order was confirmed at 3:03am ET for the Apple Watch Sport space grey 38mm dates of 24/4-8/5... Anyone else with this same watch get a status change? I'm from Toronto!

I talked with someone over chat a little bit ago, and they said that between Monday-Wednesday they will be updating statuses throughout the day. So hopefully it is true and my status will change.
 
I had a look at the spreadsheet. Out of the total number of UK users, only one is in Preparing for Shipment, how's he different than the rest of us?

I know you mention you called and they told you had the good order time I was just wondering what time you order you watch. I hoping I have a good order time so I can get my watch on Friday

Very cool. Thanks for taking the time to reply. I love plane tracking/watching and I love Apple so I predict my productivity is going to drop substantially for the next couple of days... ;)

If this is true, I wonder if it is the person who has a 42mm SG sport listed on eBay, with an update saying the order had updated today to preparing to ship?
