I think us LA people won't see our orders go into preparing for shipment status till tonight or tomorrow. We are very close to the shipping hub and it will only take a day to ship to us. At least I hope.

I guess I should mention that the last time on the line is the estimated arrival time in Anchorage. So it looks like 2:19 - 3:31 Pacific time (5:19-6:31 EST) will once again (hopefully) be a good time for movement in the US.

Should be pointed out that everyone who was able to look up their shipping label via reference number found that their label "was" created on 4/23... Meaning everything will be physically shipping Thursday.

Same model as me. I am in Alabama. Absolutely no activity. I got my email at 12:08 PDT. Starting to think I won't see it on the 24th. I just hope it is closer to 4-24 than May 8th.:(
 
Odd pending charge to cc this am

So i have my 1 charge done, and its moved to prepping to ship status,
my wife's watch is still processing, yet i have a new temp authorization for today from apple but no amount showing up yet its odd anyone else have this happen to them ?
 
I think everyone with a 4/24-5/8 date range will get their watches on the 24th. Aside from shipping delays due to inclement weather.

I am also in Hampton. Same as you I got charged on Monday and moved to preparing for shipping but nothing since. 42 mm Blue sport.

I just noticed my shipping and billing address are the same in my order. The issue is my shipping address is my work address. I am wondering if I am going to get a credit card failure when they actually try to process my card? Does anyone know if I will be given the oppy to fix it once they try to bill? I hate to call apple and mess with my order before there is actually a problem.

Appreciate the recommendations
 
This product launch has not been good and really the last few have been bad. Apple never seems to have the inventory during a new product launch or an upgrade to a product. after awhile this gets old. Apple stop releasing products until you have the inventory. :rolleyes:

Yes. You'll be notified via email and given an opportunity to provide a valid form of payment.

Yes, you'll have an opportunity to change credit card info. Once its declined though you'll want to respond ASAP.
I personally haven't had this happen to me, but I've heard that people are notified via email and have the opportunity to call\change online and then their payment is processed immediately.

I'm starting to get nervous for sure. I ordered my 38mm Pink Sport at 3:01a EST and my boyfriend ordered his 42mm Blue Sport a half hour later at 3:31a EST.

My watch is still processing.

His watch is preparing for shipment.

What's up with that? I ordered first!

(For reference, we're in Michigan)

All depends on order time and watch config...
Seems that Pink and Black sports bands are the ones still waiting.
I'm a :03 42mm Space Gray Sport (black band). I'm in still in the same boat with you.

I had the same issue - when I used Apple Pay at 0302ET to place my order, for some odd reason it defaulted to my work address instead of my home for shipping (which was fine) AND billing (which it wasn't!).

I just called Apple and they took care of it in seconds. You may also still be able to modify it on your order page, but if not, call them and have them fix it - don't wait for a failure email.

How do you look the order up by reference number? I have tried and nothing shows up when I do it?
