Since I got my magical noon commit time, I might just wait for it to come to me. Depends on whether or not I get called into work, if I do I'll probably have them hold it so I can just swing by and pick it up, instead of waiting until late that evening.

Im not giving up hope until tomorrow evening... Since Apple is shipping Next Day. Technically anything that goes out tomorrow can still arrive on Friday.
Strange that NO 38mm SG Sport have been spotted anywhere (as far as i've seen.. I've read every single post in this thread) I would think Apple would have at least one stash somewhere in the US ahead of time since Black is VERY popular and they did have our "favorites" to look at ahead of pre-orders..

San Francisco. Had trouble getting Apple Store up and running so finally went to the ap instead -- order placed around 12:10 PST I would guess.
Yowza! These are just shipping labels and tracking numbers, mind you -- no actual shipment yet -- but wow it may actually get here!!!
Ok. I placed my order at 3:01a via the App. Got confirmation from a rep that it came through the system at 3:04a. Got a Blue Sport 38mm, and yours is the first of that SKU that's actually gotten a number...
Can't track via reference, and doesn't show up in MyChoice.

Not sure yet... I want to do pick up so I can get it early because I leave for a trip at 4:30pm.... But I am afraid I will somehow mess it up and delay the shipment!
Plus my UPS page shows 9am-1pm estimated delivery (also states could be until end of day)
I want to do pickup because UPS here always comes around 6, but now I'm worried too that it will mess it up as well. On the UPS website it says that if you want to pick up your delivery, that it is usually ready around 8am on the scheduled day of delivery. So I'm going to call later today and see if it will delay the order or mess it up, but I think it should be fine.
