I am waiting for a possible explosion because if the shipping status doesn't change in the next 48 hours those who are expecting delivery on the 24th in this forum are going to go nuts.
I am in the second tier - May 12th-26th so my expectations are zero at the moment which is nice. I feel no anxiety or pressure.

Just me and a bag of popcorn reading peoples frustrations :)

It's not going to be pretty (I'm in the first group) and already feeling the agida!

Same here. 18 days :( was hoping for 4 days.
I did look at my iPhone 6 order from last fall and it came from PA and it change to prepared for shipment until Wed morning. Shipped Thursday delivered Friday.

Don't worry it's just showing the worst case scenario.

The Deliveries app is great but only good for monitoring shipping because it is as it says...."Deliveries".
The Apple store orders page is the Holy Grail so use that and when it says shipped then you can start using other apps to monitor.

The Deliveries app also shows the text from Apple, so you can watch it sit in Processing items and then move to prepare for shipping.

Unknown. I've seen people claim their iPhone 6 order didn't update on the site until the morning before delivery. So only time will tell…

im so confused! my deliveries app now says "delivery by May 8th" and has the days countdown...but the apple website still says processing with the window between the 24th-8th?! why?! :/ i ordered at 3:01am and got email reciept by 3:02am

Look at literally one post above yours. Unreal.

Sorry, but I'll need a screenshot to confirm that one! ;)

I have a friend that works at Office Depot and he said Apple just put in a rush order for 2.3 million small white boxes!

This could be a sign!

If you think that Apple haven't already got the orders packed ready to be sent, you're nuts :p

Yes but as I said, if the online status doesn't change then people will believe that their watches haven't been shipped.

No one will know for sure until the 24th and then we will have the second set of explosions from those that were expecting the watch and didn't get ii

I spoke to Apple on the phone a little while ago to update my email address, and they said that for UK customers a card authorisation of £1 was taken. Different to iPhone 5 pre order where they authorised all the money. So those of you from the UK who have wondered why there's no card authorisation your account, that's why.

Other than that the lovely Apple bod said they have absolutely no news of when shipment will happen. She did say it should be BEFORE 8th May, but I will not be holding my breath. Like many of you, I'm excited but life goes on :):):)

that's exactly what I've got as an answer. As you say, life goes on, but if we have to wait so damn long, it just becomes exhausting. I mean, at least for me. I know the Store app pushes a notification if the status changes, I just choose to obsessively refresh the page as well as this forum, in hope for good news :p

Apple Watch Basics

Hi everyone, this forum certainly has been entertaining today, despite the whole waiting for Apple to process these watches. Come on Apple, show us some updates!

The retail stores have a watch basic event on the morning of the 24th. You need to bring your watch and phone with you. Since most of these events are early in the day how are you supposed to bring something that most likely hasn't been delivered yet, since the courier isn't just delivering Apple watches. Then travel to the retail store for 10:30am. Seems an odd thing to do on the day of release when you can't buy them at the retail store.

I'm sure I am missing something.

You say they take £1 to authorise your card... But I had a £0.00 in my banks pending charges on 10/04 and it disappeared by the following Wednesday and now there is nothing there. Is that normal? This is my second preorder so I'm a little on edge. Haha
