Exactly 10 weeks :(

I wonder why the supply chain outside of Applestore countries is so bad. FedEx/DHL is not that much slower. Why does it take so long !!!!!!

God damn it !! I ordered mine on October 22, that means I still have 10 days to wait !?

I lost my temper and called the reseller, they apologized and offered me a $100 gift card because I asked for a refund.

Mine is arriving tomorrow.

Received my iMac yesterday, 9 days after ordering. Fired her up and the display looks awesome. I'm not going to run all these goofy test looking and trying to find something. I loaded up a few different wallpapers, including and all white one. Didn't see any sign of yellow tint, or any dead pixels. That's good enough for me.

Now I'm migrating from my Time Capsule. Should be through in another hour or so.

I have no idea but I was about to cancel it, they served me a reason for problems on delivery of the 780 video card which I didn't believe.

Correction, 8 weeks.

Everyone else getting Mavericks preinstalled?
I got it.

Because of the delay they offered me the 16G extra ram which I ordered on top of default 8G for free, about 200$. Don't compare with my waiting time.

I got the GTX 780 upgrade as well - so it's consistent that I have a delay on my BTO... week 4 and counting ):

Also, I'm in Canada.

Purchased from Apple directly or through a reseller, I got the 780 and had a machine at my door in less than 8 days [including the weekend]

Country?
As you can see I'm located in Belgium/Brussels and eekz is Canada, I think a lot is influenced by this.

Mine took the same time ( 8 weeks!) , purchased from Apple reseller in Italy .
They told me same story about the graphic card 780...
by the way i'll never buy again from Apple reseller store , horrible experience:mad:.
Got mine with Mavericks installed the 11th of december .

Looks like Europe is so slow

I purchased through my Education channels; orders are typically very very quick so this is abnormal.
ouch, good luck to get it way faster than me

I ordered a 27" 3,2 Ghz i5 with 1TB FD in the Dutch online store last Monday. Today the status changed to preparing for delivery, that sounds good to me.

Can't wait but I guess delivering it before the 25th of december will be tricky so not counting on it (yeah right!).

Edit: and only a few hours later the status changed to Shipped! But on the next tracking page it says that expected delivery date will be on the 30th of January so that will still takes another 11 days.

Country: the Netherlands
Order date: 15-12
Prepare for delivery: 19-12
Shipped: 19-12

Happy holidays all!

Ordered a maxed-out 27th on Dec 10th with delivery expected in three business days. Delivery was pushed back to "Dec 23-26th" and is now "Dec 30- Jan 2nd".
Not good as A: It's a gift for my wife, and B: I Needed it to show on my 2013 taxes.

I"m in Los Angeles.

If it ships by Dec 31st, it'll still qualify for your taxes. Have you called Apple and asked them why the changes in delivery date? And explain it is a present.
