3:18PM where I am right now, still no sign of UPS. Tracking says "Out for delivery" as of 5:30AM and it was supposed to be delivered by 12 noon. When I called UPS they basically told me that their noon guarantee is completely made up (unlike FedEx who actually delivers when they say they will) and that I "should" get it by 7PM tonight.

Commercial vs. Residential deliveries. Different commitment times. This is normal.

i have my choice and wasn't even given a window. just says by end of day... gotta go cross town for dinner at 3:30...

Sitting here at the office waiting for it to arrive. I left for 10 minutes for lunch and I was freaking out thinking the truck would arrive when im not there and i cant sign for it and then id have to wait until monday.

every time i hear a truck go by my ears perk up.

I've done this sitting' 'round all day for previous Apple purchases. No way could I stand doing it again. So had UPS hold it, went downtown at 7:30 am and picked it up. Only now I need a nap because I got up so early on my day off. :D

Dinner at 3:30?

Damn, dude, are you like 90 years old?

Kidding. :)

My wife and I bust on each other, because we'll finally find a sitter for the kids and eat dinner out at 5:30 like a couple of old retirees living in Del Boca Vista next door to Morty and Helen Seinfeld. Neither of us has any patience for crowds or waiting for a table to open up.

Unless it's a misload, it can get on the wrong truck which means you get it tommorrow

It's 350 PM here. Been out for delivery since 530 Am. But often UPS doesn't come here till 530 or later. sigh.

No, I have to leave by 3:30 in order to make it by 5. Traffic sucks here.

Still waiting.. been waiting all day.. I offered to pick it up but they flipping insisted that I have a failed attempted delivery. I do not like UPS... at all.

still waiting here.....my luck is when i run out to pick up my son it will pass me on the street

I was worried about that too when I went to pick up my daughter. But...we made it home and the watch is still out for delivery. UPS gets here anywhere between 2:45-8 pm-ish. Usually if it's something boring, they're early. If it's something cool, it arrives after the sun has gone down.

I don't sit waiting for it. That's what I've got cats and a dog and a doorbell for. They let me know. As long as I'm not running the vacuum, which I already did this morning.

I had a delivery time estimate of 11:30am to 3:30pm, and had an exam at noon. Needless to say I was one of the first done with the exam and raced home in case they were trying to deliver while I was away. They didn't, so now I'm sitting impatiently staring out the window, playing the waiting game.
