I live in the UK and I have two macs:

rMBP 13" (late 2015) 3.1mhz i7, 16gb, 512gb SSD. Paid £1,449 6 months ago (Apple Refurb).
The exact same specs is now on the Apple store for £2,059

Mini (late 2012) 2.6 Quad core i7, 16gb, 1tb Fusion. Paid £968 in 2013 (+£50 for Crucial memory expansion)
Equivalent specs (but only dual core) is now on the Apple store for £1,309

Do I feel like my equipment has depreciated much?
Right now I could probably sell it for more money that I paid for it.

Power users don't care at all about the touch bar...I am seriously considering selling my 2014 and buying a 2015 just so I can have the last functional rMBP model for as long as possible. I wouldn't be surprised if we see the 2015 prices INCREASE like the quad core Mac Minis did when the new versions were released.
