I hope they don't go all overboard with dots and circles as Microsoft is doing.
Also, I hope they restrict the Ultralight font to headings with large font sizes. I find those slim fonts really difficult to read in small sizes.
At any rate, only a few more hours until we're scheduled to be 'polarized'.

I really don't mean to sound rude, but I really am starting to wonder if a lot of people on this forum are so stupid they can't tell the difference between a mockup and reality.
iOS 7 hasn't / has not / HAS NOT!!!!!!!! (hopefully that's clear) been announced yet. You CAN'T say that you aren't upgrading when NOBODY has seen what it is going to look like.
You CAN'T say it's going to look like Windows 8 just because you've heard the word 'flat'.
Sorry, but this is becoming unbearably annoying now.
Hmm...I have my doubts that some icons will be white on a colored background and others colored on a white background. Doesn't seem very consistent. Perhaps it was an early beta where they were testing out which design they preferred?
Does anyone really think Apple would ship what's on this mockup? I mean even if, say, Jony Ive proposed something completely hideous, is there no one at Apple that would step in and stop him from embarrassing himself?
Makes me wonder even more about Gruber's comment that "all the leaks are wrong". Because I go back to some of the earlier "rumors" from Gruber and Rene Ritchie that claimed what Ive was doing was making people "really happy". And then of course Tim Cook at D11 saying what Ive was doing was "incredible". There's no way this mock up would make anyone happy or have anyone calling it incredible.

Even a hardware mockup from a China's copycat factory is better than this. I don't see that the photoshop person from 9to5mac should be described as a "guru" in thier article. Shame on 9to5mac.

Ok. There is NO WAY that the new iOS 7 is going to look like this or I'll eat my own underwear on a live webcast. So don't get your panties all twisted up.
These guys are way smarter than the amateur that mocked this up. Besides, I've learned to never judge this stuff based on early online predictions or rumors. When Apple comes out with new stuff, you have to have an open mind. Don't judge anything until you hold it in your hands and use it. Change also requires a certain amount of acclimation as well.
So everyone... take a breath... calm down... and be patient.

Apple inspired by MicroSoft
I find it rather funny that Apple is now inspired by MicroSoft ;-).
Although the icons will probably be much better than the mockup, the 2D format with primal colours is W8 for sure. I bet Apple will present it as a revolution as they always do though...
