watchOS 8.3 (19S55), released yesterday, seems to have fix the Dexcom G6 complication issue on the ⌚️AWS7. It’s been working since. ?

So I’ve just upgraded to the Series 7 and I habe an iPhone 13 Mini. Both decides are up-to-date and I am still getting the “Check Dexcom Mobile App on your iPhone” message when I open the Dexcom app on my Apple Watch. Does anyone have any idea how to help?

I’ve got two AW7 with same iOS and watchOS, a blue one that works fine with the Dexcom G6 app, and a red one that shows the message you see “Check Dexcom Mobile App on your iPhone” or works intermittently or shows no message and no data.

Very strange and very frustrating.

After wiping the Watch several times and setting up the Watch as New, I rebooted the Watch and the iPhone at the same time and upon rebooting, the Dexcom app started working on the Series 7. I have no idea why, but I'm happy it's working!

If you have 2 Apple Watches, make sure only 1 Series 7 is powered on. I'm running iOS 15.2 on my iPhone 13 Pro Max and watchOS 8.3 on my Series 7 and everything is working fine.
