Think of it this way... your 6S won't lag. The 6S Plus will have to downscale the resolution to 1080p, allowing occasional stutters in animations and scrolling. This is a fact btw.
A fact how? Did anyone who have had their hands on the 6s plus says that it lags? I find it hard to believe especially with that A9 SoC

I had a 6+ for the past 2 months. We switched from AT&T to T-Mobile, and I figured I would give it a shot. I was not thrilled with the phone at all. The battery life isn't nearly as big of a boost as I would have liked, and takes forEVER to charge. As for OIS, I will get over it. I liked the size when using it, but I just couldn't stand the size carrying it around, carrying it around was a chore to me, funny since I am a 6'2" male, but I just couldn't take it anymore. I actually ordered a 6s+ this morning with T-Mobile, because I figured it would be hard to go back to the smaller phone, but T-Mobile screwed up the order and ordered a regular 6s, and I am ok with it. I consider it a message from another power helping me with the choice.

OIS is superior to DIS but I cant imagine its a huge difference. Also the plus has a larger battery, bigger screen, the 6plus was clocked a hair faster than the 6, and you can rotate other apps into landscape mode. But its bigger, harder to hold, and harder to find in your pocket.

Adding to the discussion, I read a quote from somewhere today, and I think it is defiantly true.
"If you don’t KNOW you want a Plus, you don’t want a Plus."
If you don't completely love it, or are not in complete love with the idea, I think you will be disappointed and wanting to go back. I never really KNEW I wanted it, which is why I got a regular 6 launch day. I envied it, so I tried it, but I am going back.

I remember debating this issue last year. 6+ or 6....I went with 6+...at first I loved it but then the portability became a big issue for me. I was passed my 14 days. I sold it for $100 less what I owed on next. It was in mint conditions. So I lost $100...I immediately went and got me a 6. Guess what? Never looked back nor considered a 6+. This morning at 3:10 am my decision was easy...6s 64gb gold. 6+ for me is an after thought.

I was weighing the 6s and 6s+ for a while now. Couldn't decide but ultimately went with the 6S because of ease of pocketability along with easier access to the 3d touch (one-handed), and texting (one handed). Now I'm HUGE into photography / slow motion video. I understand that the OIS will make somewhat of a difference in low light but can't results also be achieved via post processing? Also since the sensor has been improved wouldn't it be possible to take better pictures in low light on the normal 6S now? I also understand that the battery will be superior on the plus I'm just not 100% confident in my decision so I hope the 6s will take amazing photos and video because that is my main concern. I hope others can weigh in.

Inferior, no
You just picked the phone that was right for you.

I agree-- I think he meant that the 6+ lags, so he assumed the same will occur with the 6s+, but as you said only a handful of people have even used the phone so far and definitely not long enough to determine something like lagging.

I will chime in and say that I had a 6 for about 4 months before I switched to the 6+, and the video lag on the larger model is definitely real. There were a couple of issues I noticed going from the 6 to the 6+, however none were major enough for me to really regret my decision. I think the issue with the 6+ always revolved around having only 1GB RAM, and with the always-active downscaling to 1080P I believe lag/stutter was always caused by the RAM bottleneck. With 2GB RAM (supposedly) on the new models as well as a faster A9, really doubt we'll see any more of these lagging or similar issues specific to the larger + model.

I picked a 6s too after going back and forth. I like using it one handed, and I think 3d touch benefits greatly in one hand use.
