Did ANYONE get a SS w/ link band for day 1 delivery?

Anyone have a theory as to why no link bands were available for day 1 release? More complicated than Apple expected, maybe?
Think logically about this. How would none go out for launch day and yet the bands could have been bought themselves to ship within two weeks. People just need to let the system run its course. I would bet many people who ordered in the first few minutes will get their watch.
I'm fine waiting longer for the link bracelet. Looks like I'll be canceling my Black SS order since there's no way I'm waiting 4+ weeks for it.
It appears that the leak that the Link bracelet would be delayed 4-6 weeks was true.

This is me as well. Got in a 3AM ET on the dot basically, checked out in less than 30 seconds, confirmation email at 3:01. I Still think these will be sooner though like many Apple launches...but we shall see.
Another who ordered an SS with sport band and separate SS band. Estimate is 2-4 weeks(4/29-5/12)
This appears to be the way to go if you aren't getting black.
Like everyone else, my order was complete within 3 minutes of midnight pacific time for a black ss watch with it's only band option and I have a mid-may delivery.
So you're paying more money on something you don't really want to shave a few weeks off, on a watch??
That approach seems a little strange to me.
4-6 Weeks for Australia, this was for my Space Black SS, seems like the Aussies will be receiving these 4-6 weeks from the launch date! 
And for what it's worth (probably not very much), my bank account hasn't been charged for anything. I know that they don't charge until ready to ship, but I don't even have the preauth and I have seen many threads with people who have a Day 1 delivery option with cards already charged.
I'm not very hopeful for a better shipping time, but it's the watch I wanted so I will wait it out. Will be the first apple device that I have successfully preordered within the first 10 minutes and not received on launch day. But, then I was willing to not get a gold iphone when those were the phones with long delays back in the 5/5s days. So, I probably could have got one on launch day if I wasn't picky.

I ordered my wife's SS link at 8:01 UK and got the 4-6 week delivery time

No, I want both bands. If I didnt want the sport band I would have ordered the SS with the link band.

Same for me, I ordered and got my confirmation at +4min after midnight. (Lost a min when I thought about ordering another SS with a separate bracelet).

Yeah. I dunno if it'll be anything close to launch, but Apple tends to under-promise and over-deliver so I think they'll do better than 4 weeks.
