Did anyone pre-order from AT&T and check their order status?

Mine also has the pre-ordered box checked, and although my order confirmation e-mail says it's expected to be delivered on 10/14, I sure wish I'd get that second e-mail I've read people are getting (saying the phone is now being processed at the warehouse)....... I know it's pathetic, but I love new technology.
This is correct. Last year, my iPhone 4 was shipped from a warehouse in Texas. Everything should sort itself out by next week.
I wasn't charged early this morning after preorder.
After I received the second email, I checked my account and it was charged.
I got one email it says

Some people might want to check if their card hasn't been charged. I ordered from AT&T early this morning and my card was charged $1. I then received an automated call from my credit card company. The charge had been flagged as fraudulent and it was asking me to confirm. It then said told me to attempt the transaction again.
I wanted to order from apple anyway in order to get cashback, so I just did that and called AT&T to cancel. Their automated system also said there was a problem with my credit card.
The rep I finally spoke with said that this was happening with a lot of the pre-orders. I just cancelled my order with AT&T.

What does AT&T usually ship? Reason I ask is because I have a flight at 3:25pm on the 14th. Fedex usually delivers to my house early in the morning and UPS delivers late. I'd rather be able to get my phone before I fly out.
I see my order in the order status area, but unlike last year I haven't seen an email. How long did it take your emails to arrive? I ordered at 2:50-3am somewhere in there.
Am I the only one who cannot check his order status online still? Placed my order on ATT.com around 1 am PST and STILL does not show on the website. Called the rep said everything was good on the order (and cancelled a duplicate order I had created). I shouldn't be worried, but I am (need to see it "in process").
Anyone else in similar boat?

Ah, okay. What a relief. The backordered thing on the tracking page got me worried, but it sounds like this is normal. I was pretty certain I was one of the first to actually order through AT&T's website, I was checking constantly until it gave me the option to upgrade to the 4S, and it had to have been within a couple minutes of going live (finally, they were real slow last night). I never did get the confirmation email, but I did get the processed email, so I was really just worried that mine had gotten bumped back in the list somehow and wasn't going to ship by release. This information makes me a lot more confident I'll get mine on time.
If you're having trouble getting your order status, don't worry. It takes them a few hours before your order appears there. Mine wasn't up yet last night, but this afternoon I could get to it.

But...I ordered last night as well (1am PST). WTF?!?! I can wait, I just want to see it in the system!!!
I'm in the same boat. My card was charged (pending) within an hour after I got my order in. I had to resort to ATT telesales though since the web was so trashed.
I had to resort to ATT telesales this morning after my ordered was delayed due to fear of fraudulent charge on my credit card and I just received an email from ATT asking me to approve the agreement on-line, but order status is not showing up on the ATT order check site. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this doesn't cause a delay in shipment.

They're actually not all on backorder. If you call 1-866-391-0749 and enter your order number, 99.9% chance it says "your order has been processed and is stored at our warehouse awaiting pre-order shipment date. So technically, they're ready for shipment, but can't be shipped yet.
