Yes but it also doesn't matter how the other ones behave because it's irrelevant to you.
 
so later I brought it home and went inot the iphone store and it was asking me for a itunes password for some random email that I never seen in my life...

This same thing happened to me. It was a random gmail account. My only thought was that it was tested by some apple employee or factory worker.

It makes sense that it would have been that someone signed into itunes on the computer they activated it with though.

I had to go home and set it up with my itunes before I could buy any apps or songs.
