Did iOS 26 add fast forward support for steering wheel buttons?

I just noticed that I can suddenly click-and-hold to fast forward songs using my steering wheel controls on my 2019 Honda Civic.

This wasn’t possible before. Is this a new feature in iOS 26, or did something else change on my setup? I do not recall seeing this anywhere

I've been using that feature since May of '23 when I started using CarPlay
