So your world stopped moving because I added some redundancy to the thread?CrackedButter said:This thread is still quite small, what's your excuse for not reading it before you posted.
Warbrain said:This is definitely an issue that Apple should take care of. I can't believe that someone at Applecare basically told you that it's your fault your computer began to bubble.
haha yeah good call Chrispy.Chrispy said:Apple NEEDS to give you a replacement for that. Their support has been HORRIBLE lately. A friend on mine just got a MBP and within a few hours of using it he started having random shutdowns. I must admit, I'm very happy to be using a Dell Latitude D620 right now over an apple laptop. Apple really needs to get this crap under control... NOW!
Merf said:I don't have a macbook or any apple laptop right now. But from the pictures it looks like its on the battery. Because it does say 16.3 v in the upper right hand corner of the second picture. Thats just my 2 cents. I have not seen or touched a macbook yet. So I could be wrong.

but very shocking indeed.
Chrispy said:Reno404, any updates for us on the status of getting this thing replaced?
Reno404 said:Yes, I went to the store and they went. They obviously don't have the authority to allow a replacement, but they urged me to demand a new one. They're kinda astonished to see all the trouble I have with my MB ("must have been made on a monday morning, man") .
And since I'm a journalist, they told me to play that card as well and threaten Apple to make all these flaws go public. So I wrote to Apple Belgium, sent a copy to the Public Relations-Press service, demanding a new one. And a black one, to avoid the on-going staining, and as a commercial gesture for 2 months of unavailability of my main work tool.
Now, wait and see.
