Hey all,

Noticing a trend around here... nearly everyone who bought the 6 seems to have done so because they couldn't wait for the 6+! Pretty pathetic

Actually, I chose the 6 because I'm using a 4S right now. Since the 5, 5c and 5S are larger than the 4S, and the 6 is larger than those three, it's almost like I'm getting a 6 plus right out of the gate due to the size differences. Also, I don't really have a use for the larger screen that the 6 Plus has. I've never liked the phones like Samsung Note because I think the larger screens actually hinder their portability.

Just my .02.

No, he'd be scared to call people pathetic to their faces, they might just react and he'd have to run away ;).

Probably true, but the same type of behavior happens in real life. Too many people always competing over the dumbest things - even contradicting themselves when doing so. The same person, for example, bragging one minute about not caring about technology but then bragging about having the latest the next. Whatever the situation - they have it the best/worst/most/least/whatever.

I think it is bad to settle but do what makes you happy.

I got 6 plus with 9/19 delivery. Know people who wanted the 6 and went straight for that as well.

Never wanted a 6 plus. I've wanted a 6 since there was even talk of two different sizes. To be honest I've never even considered the plus. Minor spec differences are just that minor. My iPhone 5 serves my needs just fine. I like the smaller size.

Its a shame the people who are making these threads just because they are so insecure with the phone they preordered. What is wrong with you people !!! I got a 6 because i seen nothing worth the extra 100 dollars for the plus and i did not want a phone that big plain and simple. Smh people these days.

I like both of them & I could have had either but I choose the iPhone 6 as it was in the end, the one that I wanted, I can see the appeal of the 5.5 screen but I still want my phone to be a phone and be something that I can easily fit in my pocket, the 4.7 screen provides the larger screen I want whilst still being something a lot more mobile. My friend also works in a phone shop and the iPhone 6 has been their biggest seller. Choose the iPhone that you like & the one that suits you best.

I got a 6, 64GB because it allows me to continue to choose what screen works best for whichever situation I find. If I need a bigger screen I can use my 15" rMBP or Retina iPad Mini w/Tmobile service. If I need a smaller, one-handed device I still have the newest thing from apple in the iPhone 6.

Another factor that contributed to my decision was price. I had a budget of about $800 for this purchase and after taxes. That means I could either get the 6, 64GB or the 6+, 16GB. I have a 32GB phone right now and wouldn't want to go any smaller.

no settling here. I wanted a silver, 64GB iPhone 6 and ordered a silver, 64GB iPhone 6. i should receive it in the mail on friday. :D

Why stop there? How about using an Air-sized phone? ;)

Better than using a 5s ipod nano sized phone.;)

Of course not. I purchased the 6 because that is the phone I wanted, and I could have had either.

Why are there so many elitist thinkers on this forum who think everyone wants a 6+ because that is what they chose?

Just like the 5s elitists that was the same way about the 5c.

6 was my first choice. For some reason the idea of an iPhone as large as the 6+ just seems like it crosses some barrier from large phone to mini-tablet, and I feel like smartphones are already getting to be a bit too big. I was one who always loved the look and feel of the really small flip phones back in the day. Something about the smaller size that makes it feel higher quality. I definitely appreciate the desire for the larger screen (and other bonuses) but ultimately wanted to try the 6 first. In February my other line has an upgrade so I can go with the 6+ then and give me wife the 6 if I change my mind. Only thing I might regret is going 16gb instead of 64, but I felt Apple getting rid of 32 rather than starting there was kind of a d&@k move. And 16 is all I really need. Forces me to be better about organizing my photos.

No lie the decisions of me getting a 6 or a 6+ was insane, kept switching from one to the other on a hourly basis. Ended up ordering 2 iPhone 6+ and 2 iPhone 6, but I will be keeping the iPhone 6 myself.

I won't lie; the thought did cross my mind a few times. I never really even had a real interest in Note sized phones so in surprised I decided to order the Plus at preorder.

But as far as I've held on this weekend, I suppose I'll keep my Plus preorder and see if it's something I can manage. If not, I can always go down a size to the 6.

Nope, planned on the 6, ordered the 6. Not that we really need to provide an explanation, but mine would be that I have small hands. Like carnies. Nomads, you know?

I ordered the 6 because a few years ago I tried out a Galaxy Note for 14 days and decided it was too big for me. It was a gorgeous device though and these big screens are fantastic, I just don't want to carry around a gigantic phone. Plus, the 6 is bigger than the 5/5s anyway so I'm getting a size bump regardless.

I originally intended to order the 6 Plus, but admittedly was getting cold feet and having serious doubts about it due to the large size. By the time I was able to get onto Apple's website on Friday morning, the ship dates had slipped to 3-4 weeks, so I just went with the 6. Once I've had a chance to actually check out a 6 Plus at the store in person, I'll see what I truly think of it and if I really like it, I'll go with the 6s Plus (or whatever it ends up being called) next year. But I'll definitely be sticking with the iPhone 6 that I've already ordered until then.

I've been set on the 6 since I first learned there would be two screen sizes. I'm still very happy with my decision, but I think for my next upgrade I'll try a 5.5inch phone. The more I see the case size comparison shots and see people with Note 3s, the more I like the idea.

I'd always wanted the 6...thought the 5.5 would be too big. When I was placing my preorder I went straight for the 4.7. But when I got the case for it this weekend, it didn't seem that much bigger than my 6. A 5.0-5.1 inch device would have been perfect. Now I wonder if I should have gotten the 6+.

The 6 comes in on Friday, but I'll hold off unboxing it until I get a chance to get my hands on both models in a store. If I definitely want a 6 Plus, I'll just order it and wait. My wife wants a 6, so I'd just get the shipped one reassigned to her.

What a stupid comment. Yeah, demand for the new iPhones are 99% for the plus and 1% for the 6. Dumb. (you did say, nearly everyone)

I wanted a gold 64GB plus and I ordered a gold 64GB plus.
Hubby wanted a gray 128GB 6 and guess what? That's exactly what he ordered! No settling here!
Did I think about settling for the 6 so I could get it this Friday? Honestly, for about 2 seconds yes I did, but ultimately decided that if I was spending this much money on a phone then I was going to buy what I wanted!
