Yeh weird thing I've noticed is that depending on the lighting my phone will look either bright white or will warmer so odd.

I swear, I'm seeing the exact same thing.
Oh than god I thought I was going crazy lol it's so annoy

Oh thank god I thought I was the only lol it's so annoying but what I'm thinking is that the temperature of the screen changes depending on the lighting maybe we should look at it as cool lol

Well, ambient lighting can have an effect on the appearance of a screen.

I think it is fairly obvious now that all of the 7 models have a warmer temperature than the 6 models. It is easier on the eyes for sure but I still prefer a cooler/blue white.

It is what they decided. A "cool" iPhone 7 does not exist.

I wonder if they actually may exist, I've heard a few ppl on here who said their phone is as bright and white as their 6s.

I get the new phone each year and each model phone does the same thing. Looks white and bright one minute, warmer the next depending on the light. Used to it now

Another line on our plan was upgraded to the iPhone 7 rose gold, its slightly better than my iP7 JetBack but compared to a 6 no where near that color accuracy and hue. doesn't seem brighter either.

Here is my screen at full brightness

I know exactly what you mean my 6 plus had an amazing cool blue bright screen I feel like I've downgraded with the 7 plus rather then upgrade which is really disappointing.

I'm returning my third 7 Plus. It want the worst but it's still too warm and not bright enough. I keep wanting to make it brighter but it's at max. :(

Maybe they will fix the issue in the future.

What's with that? I looked at my friend's 7+ and it seemed so dim only to find out it was on max brightness. My 6+ is way brighter at max...

after spending more time comparing them i don't mind the warmer hue of the 7, the more i compare 6 / 7 the 6 looks blue yes, but like its overcast.

Im also wondering if the darker jet black/matte black phones are warmer to match the darker front bezel and the silve/rosegold/gold are a bit lighter to match the front? thats just a theory...but its growing on me where the icons and colors look much more accurate.
