The Supplemental Update is for any system that was updated from Mac OS X v10.6 using the Mac OS X Update Combined v10.6.3, build 10D573. It is not needed on systems that were updated from Mac OS X v10.6.1 or 10.6.2, and it is not needed on systems that were updated from Mac OS X v10.6 using the Mac OS X Update Combined v10.6.3, v1.1.The Supplemental Update is for any system that was updated from Mac OS X v10.6 using the Mac OS X Update Combined v10.6.3, build 10D573. I did that last night with osx 10.6.2. But ill try it again

You should always run a repair disk permissions after installing an update, no matter what the last time you did it was.
 
This is the update that I have. i just restored after changing HDDs and that was the quickest method offered to update. I always repair permissions, but it is still killing my load time.
