And we've been hearing the UI lag in android has been solved since Gingerbread...not quite. Maybe after a 10 core CPU drops in a couple of years.

And this is why the CPU spec, memory spec, etc is somewhat misleading when comparing handset vs handset.

It depends on the software....

People who are all "omg omg omg quad core omg!" are somewhat missing the point...

It was in the Jobs' biography that it was stated that Ive's studio held mockups of four years' worth of planned (or at least possible) products.

Of course, that doesn't mean the current leadership is going to follow all (or any) of those ideas.

The main legacy that Jobs left, and which Cook seems to keep going, was Apple's method of an odd/even upgrade progression: new case one year, slight improvements the next year, with one big bang feature that required upgrading to the new model.

Personally I hope that one of the new products in the pipeline is an Apple smartwatch.

These BUT im curious they will continue the "S" trend in regards of small/only spec bumps.

I hope Steve Jobs planned for an upcoming iNote.

I really wish my iphone had a bigger screen. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would be happy with a Galaxy Note 2 sized iPhone.

Then get a GN2, I am an iPhone user and my boyfriend has the new note phone he loves it but really?? why would you want that in your pocket? Just get a mini iPad instead. It's super bulky and its heavy as heck. My iPhone is small still fits in my back pocket not bulky and my very favorite, IT'S WEIGHTLESS. I love the look of it, I have the white one (my first white iPhone) and I don't think I could ever get another phone brand ESPECIALLY a plastic phone!

Tim Cook likes iPhones just as much as Steve Jobs did.

I think the iPad mini and the iPhone 5 were two sizing options that Steve hadn't worked on.

When those came out, it was all about changing the size. Something that no one really thought Apple would do.

Don't be too fast on this. No one really actually knows for certain until Apple releases this information..

“For example, it appears as if Steve Jobs was closely involved in the iPhone 5 redesign. In a report first mentioned by Bloomberg, three sources said that there will be a redesign of the iPhone 5.”

If people think that Steve Jobs made it, they're more likely to buy it. But he's obviously not directly involved any more.
