I'm using a 6 right now and would love to get the plus model next time around. I love my phone now but my eyes have gotten slightly worse in the past couple years so it strains my eyes a little with the small screen, have to have it closer to my face. I'm only 16 and I am already having these issues. Thanks astigmatism. Probably doesn't help that I'm a total geek so I look at screens all day. Anyway, I digress.

I think the landscape features and the better battery would be really nice. My iPhone makes it through the day typically, but if I use it any more than usual, it doesn't. Landscape features would be really cool too, I have to switch from landscape to portrait a lot with my use-case so it would be nice being able to just keep the phone in the same position. I used the plus model in stores and such and the size feels.. refreshing. Not too horrible to reach around the screen although it is a little more challenging. Don't think it will bug me much.

Not sure if I will jump on the 7 or wait for the 7S... I really don't want to lose headphone jack :(

Off topic, but you get laser treatment for your astigmatism. I did and it's amazing.

Congrats on your new phone. And weight loss!

I may need to consider the plus model in September if it has exclusive features I want.

Yeah I got the 6 the day it came out thinking that going from a 4S to a 6 was going to be a big enough leap in screen size. But after a few months of having the 6, I wish I got the 6 plus. Oh well. I'm gonna wait for the 7+ whatever.

It would really suck if they got rid of the head phone jack on the 7.

Get your eyes checked by a proper ophthalmologist (eye doctor). Forget this iDevice rat race and first concentrate on your eye care.
Got my eyes checked and they said just minor astigmatism, "Not a good candidate for contacts"

My eyes aren't *horrible* but they just aren't what they used to be. I can go through daily life fine without glasses but just certain situations at long distances are a little rough. Got prescription lenses and it's just a "use as needed" thing according to them.

Enjoy your phone.

I don't think most people has actually decided what is the perfect screen size for them. Things change, people change.

I think having a big or small phone can be a double-edged sword sometimes. If the phone is a phablet, it is a little harder to carry around and more hand gymnastics but at least you can feel it inside your pocket. Women who have purses don't have that issue. With a small iPhone, no one-handed gymnastics and easy to slip in your pocket but sometimes you won't as easily feel it inside and it is like losing keys. Easier to slip out and easier to steal without you noticing it. I tend to put all my phones in a belt holster, so I never have that problem anymore of losing a phone from my pocket.

Hopefully, the Samsung foldable displays heading for tablets next year will change the game for phablets overall. So carrying around phones with 6-8 inch displays being folded like a book in you pocket won't sound unusual like it is right now. The 5.5 will become medium sized by that point.

I like my 6S plus but after having it a week I had buyer's remorse and wanted the 6 instead, so I'm just going to wait this out and get the 7S when that time comes. I ended up buying mine outright but I just don't see a point in getting a new phone after a year when there's nothing wrong with the phone I have now.
