Did you change carriers in order to purchase the i-phone?

Yes. I switched from Virgin Mobile pay-as-you-go. Big step up in cost, but worth it.

Yes. I had about a year left with verizon, paid the the early termination, signed with at&t and bought the iphone..best $400 i have spent all year.

No. Had already been with O2 for 4 year and was happy they got the contract.

I was with T-Mobile USA. I paid $24 per month, old pan including unlimited data! Yeah it was the plan of a lifetime.

The iPhone was the only thing that was ever going to make me leave that plan.

I would love to get one now but hubby says to wait until our contract is up. We have 4 phones on my plan which would mean 175 times 4. That would be way too much money. I only have to wait until April for the verizon contract to end. That isn't too much longer.

I'd been with Orange for almost 10 years and dropped them like a stone to move to O2 and my iPhone (same goes for both myself and my wife). So far, I've been delighted with both the iPhone and O2 - much better signal in the house from O2 than Orange
