As the topic states, did you get your preorder in as you expected to or are you faced with "oh too late shipping delays?"
 
I did the preapproval for IUP to save time. That backfired. My iphone’s Apple store app never updated when the store went back online. I rebooted my phone and reinstalled the app. Nothing for a good 10 minutes. Then when it worked I was only able to get the black when I really want the silver. Maybe I can switch in store.

It really sucks how once you preapprove you are tied to buying from your phone.

Purchased a T-Mobile 64GB Black X at 12:02. Date originally showed as 11/3, but quickly switched to 1-2 weeks after I completed checkout.

Ordered a second one for in-store pickup on 11/3. I'll cancel my first order and I couldn't be happier!
 
Yes I got my Nov 3rd ship date. But oddly I was trying to go with the 64GB model. Thinking it wouldn’t sell out. And it did. So I ordered the 256GB for next Friday. More than I was planning on paying but I’m happy lol.

I’ve had good luck with previous orders and read through other people’s woes in years passed; this year it’s my turn to be disappointed. Nothing about this order went smoothly. Had them favorited in the Apple store app on our two iPhones, kept getting error pop-ups, finally got the order in about 50 minutes after it went live, delivery date in early December ☹️
 
This year, my preordering delivery expectations were not met. Last year I preordered Verizon JB 7+ model on Apple Store App around 3:11am(delivered few days after launch). This year rolled the dice and tried for T-Mobile model (which is the only online preorder model that doesn't ship with activation verification lock). I got 2 Apple Store order confirmations emails 3:06am, and delivery dates already were at 1-2weeks Nov 10-17.

I ordered 256gb silver model on IUP for T-Mobile. I couldn’t order until 20 minutes after it started because the store didn’t come up for me and when it did, the order errored out twice!

However, I haven’t received an order confirmation email and it’s not showing up on my account in the app. But, I did take a screenshot of my order after checkout so I have an order number.

Has anyone else not received an order confirmation yet?
 
Purchased mine right when the store came up. Wasn’t lucky with a launch day delivery unless Apple ships faster. Had a 2-3 week wait time

I did the same thing and got the same dates. I am hoping the dates get moved up like in the past.
 
I got November 3rd delivery for an AT&T silver 256GB through iPhone upgrade program.

Was checked out by 12:02 - they really made iUP fast this year
 
My date was pushed from November 10-17 to 17-24. Didn’t get the confirmation until two hours ago. The delay is fine with me, gives me a chance to cancel after watching all the reviews.

I couldn’t get it to load on app or website. Great internet speeds here, just bottlenecks by the “great Apple” and their magical suck.

After 1 hour said f it and went back to bed. Contemplating getting a S8 plus and leaving Apple. The last year of products from them have been a Charlie Foxtrot in release, quality, or software and to be charged above and beyond for this is insulting at best.

Yes I know I’m hot about this, but it gets old to keep having Apple reps tell us how to order and reliably get it wrong.
 
it was frustrating at first:
Apple website crashed.
Sprint site crashed.
Best Buy site Crashed.
My phone is broken, so I couldn't use the Apple Store App.....

I was f*cking pissed....but something told me to try again, and again.
finally got through on Apple.com
 
Sat this one out, but very interested in reading about the new design and if the notch is that much of an issue
 
No app didn’t come live in UK until about 0820 for me but luckily got into the website at 0806 but still 2-3 week delivery. Got another ordered from CarphoneWarehouse for launch day so will see which comes first the cancel the other
 
I totally forgot it was Friday I have something serious happened in my family and not thinking right.
I just so happened to wake up ad 255 to use the bathroom
And looked at my phone for any texts from my family and seen it was the 27th and went omg
I ordered two 64g black on Att
Both deliver nov 3rd
Through the Apple store app.
