Cuddy is gone. Can't say I blame her, the show is a shadow of its former self and seems to be on auto-pilot.

There will be Huddy no more on House -- co-star Lisa Edelstein will not return to the veteran Fox medical drama next season. Edelstein was one of three main cast members of House, along with Robert Sean Leonard and Omar Epps, whose original contracts expired at the end of this season. Leonard and Epps re-upped earlier this month, when Edelstein's deal also looked on track to make. But word is that she ultimately decided not to return to the series for the next eighth (and likely final) season, putting an abrupt end to the on-again-off-again romance between her character Dr. Cuddy and Hugh Laurie's Dr. House -- aka Huddy. Along with Epps, Edelstein had been asked to take a cut from her most recent salary of $175,000 an episode, but the offer was still pretty good, so she is walking away from more than $2 million. Her departure will leave Olivia Wilde as the only regular female cast member, but with Wilde's hot movie career, she is rarely on full-time.

Compared to the new series, the Visitors' "human skin" effects on the old series were somewhat cheesy...

...but I'll agree that the original miniseries were still quite entertaining. The original V handguns, and the sounds they made, were awesome.

I would have loved to have seen Michael Ironside get a cameo. Ironside played mercenary mastermind Ham Tyler in "The Final Battle". (He also played the evil Revok in the cult sci-fi film "Scanners.")

Ham was the best. Another favorite from the original was Willie. I was so shocked when I found out that Robert Englund was best known for playing Freddy Krueger.

I’m amazed that there are only like 5-6 shows I even like (nothing great though as in 10 or so years ago). It really looks like all there is going to be in a few years is reality TV and cartoons (and maybe cops shows for some reason).

I just wasted a year investing in The Event.

The Sci-Fi channel used to be my favorite (not it’s called SYFY….stupid), but that’s being overtaken by reality and of all things wrestling.

I hear you. 5 years ago, if I didn't watch DVR'd shows almost every day, I'd run out of storage space for new ones. Now I DVR 8 shows plus The Daily Show.

Ooooo .... bad move. Saturday is usually a really tough night for sitcoms, and although "RoE" is somewhat established, it's not a "household name" hit yet. Whatever new show is placed after it had better be strong out of the gate, or both shows may be doomed.

Rules was probably just brought back so it can make syndication. They didn't have room for it elsewhere. Everything else on Saturday is reruns.

Most season line-ups have at least one or two freshman failures; Rules could move back to a more amenable slot in that case. My wife is crossing her fingers; she likes the show.

Chuck got bounced to Friday nights. Lame..

Guess I'll only be watching that on DVR, which means I will not watch a single commerical durning that show. At least on Monday nights they had a chance of me watching it in real time.

i wish they had at least wrapped up Off the Map instead of leading it with one chick dieing of heart failure and the other main chicks boyfriend laying shot in a field..oh well...
