If I don't have a developer account but have ios 8 beta 4 via the workaround can I update to beta 5 OTA? Or will that cause verification issues?

I've been on iOS 8 since 7pm it is definitely way better and more stable than beta 4. I'm loving iOS 8 so far.

Quick question: Do you need your UDID registered with an dev account to activate? I remember the first beta not needing this.

Tried to stay but couldn't get 1password to sync with Dropbox after clean install of beta 5. All good. Will try again on beta 6.

This is concerning to me... Idk if my terrible memory will be able to handle not having that lol. Maybe try the beta versions of 1Password? I just got an email saying there was a new public beta and in the notes it says that there is an issue with iCloud Sync, but nothing about Dropbox. Just a thought.

so far only an SMS bug that is pretty irritating. Trying to decide now whether to stay or go back to 7.1.2...it's getting very close! Handoff working much better, can now accept calls on my MBP Retina, no more keyboard issues...

I can't get calls on my MBPr. Also, can't respond to sms texts on it.

First experience with iOS 8 was beta 4, and have updated to beta 5. Very few issues so far. Mostly app related. Nothing I can't live with.

Battery has been fine. Went all day with my usual usage and down to 52%. Can't complain. Will stick with the betas until GM.

btw this is without a "clean" install. NEVER have I started fresh since the original iPhone in 2007. Have always restore everything with each new version of iOS and iPhone.

New or upgrade, it doesn't matter. I've had new installs have worse battery life than upgrades and vice versa. It's a total crapshoot with Apple iOS installs I'm afraid.

What's the workaround? I have my UDID on a dev account and i'm switching to a different 5s on iOS7 and it won't let me restore my backup since it's not iOS8. How can I get iOS8 without a dev account?

I went back to 7.1.2. Beta 5 is much improved over the past betas, but it still doesn't run as smooth as 7.1.2 on my iPhone 5. Still, I have no doubt that it will be rock solid by the GM.
