Differences in GM from Beta 6

I'm just glad the sound it makes when you plug the phone in is now much easier on the ears. The numbers of times I've disturbed my wife when plugging my phone in late at night (when I've forgotten to stick it on silent)…

wow love the new power sound. biggest change of the GM I say. My wife is also going to appreciate this change.

Not sure if people noticed it but few days ago icloud keychain recovery started working, wheb you enable a device and wish to use your current saved passwords and CC you need to put your pin then it will sms you a code, didnt work for me until a few days ago i try again and i succesfully got a sms with a code to restore.

Yet to update beta 6 to GM

I've updated my iPhone 4s and iPad 2 - definitely a speed boost and shorter booting times, too. Also love the new charge sound. Much better.

It's faster than beta 6 (on iPhone 5). Not very much, just a tad. Most notably when opening the Settings app for me. Switching between apps also seems to be a little faster.

Yes...US launch at first. The Record Labels just don't want to make any money.

There are lines between the notifications on the lock screen, they did not have these on Beta 6 or at least not as prominent.

It's in Mavericks - you can reply to a message from the alert window. I guess it'll make it across eventually.

I think iCloud Keychain is probably waiting on Mavericks too - credit cards are still there.

Nope, it's there for a second along with your current percent charge, then fades away and your left with your nice full screen background with only the time and date showing.

I noticed that the wallpapers are color coded and device dependent. The iPod touch(Black) I have has the Static Green-ish yellow, Blueish, Pink//Yellow, and Black and Gray dots while my Sisters RED iPod has a new Red Dynamic wallpaper, as well as the pink, and a White static dots wallpaper as extra. I noticed idk if all iPhones come with it, but the iPhone GM has the 5C color wallpapers which are NOT the same that are on the iPod touch.

There is an unlock sound on the device. You can confirm this by tapping the unlock sound toggle in settings to hear it. It's a bug in that it's not actually played during the event of unlocking the device.

It's another bug in this GM that slipped through the cracks.

I just have a lock sounds toggle. There is no unlock sound toggle for me

May have to do with the Touch ID feature that's implemented in 5S up I reckon. It will be fixed for sure.

• No unlock sound (it's been removed)
• New charge sound
• New Siri "mic" sound
• 33 new wallpapers

Love the new sounds. So much more up to date sounding. Hurrah for them getting them added.

Anyone notice that the remastered classic sounds all seem to have a hiss to them? Very annoying. The new sounds don't have this.

Control center doesn't work as well on light backgrounds as it did in beta 6. Before it used to dim on a light background so you could see the white elements. In the GM, the background still dims above the control center panel, but the panel itself stays the same brightness. I have no explanation for this change except that someone at Apple goofed. It was working fine in every previous beta. Also, the amount of transparency seems like it has been reduced as we'll throughout the OS. See the attached screenshot.
