I just read the entire original article and I have to agree 100%. Granted, I do love my iPhone 3G, but I am sick of everyone laughing when I have to restore my phone all the time. Or when you go to show that cool app and it crashes back to the homescreen while they are looking. Not to mention, I can't use it for anything serious now because if I put all the data in, a day later I have to restore and its all gone again (unless I decided to do the 3 hour backup daily!!). For example, I use the Gas Hog app, I have had to write down the information so I can keep a record of it just so I can put it in again when it crashes. Whats up with that????

On the 3G issue, I haven't had the dropped calls like some of you. I do however, have troubles getting on the internet when I am getting 3 or 4 bars. It takes forever IF it even works. Sometimes I have to switch to Edge just to get a connection. I am not going to blame AT&T like everyone else does, I have had a 3G Samsung Sync for the past two years running Opera Mini and I connected EVERYTIME.

My only complaint is that Apple used us as the beta testers for their product. By the time it hits the market MOST all of these things should have been worked out. Granted, I do realize some things don't come to light until after they are released. But Apple could at least say in the upgrade, "Fixed 3G Connection Issues", "Fixed Safari Crashing Bugs", etc. I wish Apple were as good as Slysoft with their AnyDVD software. I think they are class leaders in their descriptions.

Here is an example of what Apple should do:

I think anyone who has not returned their 3G phone at least 8 times has no right to complain.

I have to laugh at how stupid people are that have to return the phones for SOFTWARE issues. Like the new ones are going to be any different.
