Hey everyone. Noob here, Been lurking for a bit trying to catch the JB/UL for 3gs ios4 but saw this and thought i would start to contribute.

I got my 3gs in hopes of using on Tmobile. Before I bought it I callled them and asked if they support the Iphone. They said Yes they do

I asked if the Iphone will support their 3G and They said yes.

I am not sure if this is true from all that I have read. So my question is: will the iphone be 3G with Tmobile?

Thanks

If you have an iPhone, you will have a EDGE signal.
If you an an Android phone, you will have a 3G signal.

Well. I confirmed that this is not charged to my account. I have been using it nonstop for 2 days straight and I checked our account on TMOBILE.com and it does not show that I'm being charged.

Furthermore, I put in my mom's Tmobile SIM and does NOT even get the 3G or Edge signal! This confirms what someone else said - Tmobile doesn't charge you 3G or Edge unless you have the plan or accept the charges over the web before you use it. This is looking pretty sweet :D But I have to wait 2-3 months to see if they notices or any charges showing up :D

The problem with the Nexus is that everything is not on par with the iphone: screen, apps (the fb app sucks!!!), calenders, interface, typing

BUT it does have tethering - which means I can now cancel my iPad's $30/month plan and save $360 per year and still be able to tether to all my devices when Im on the go. Not to mention I'm loving push notifications from my emails, fb, and twitter in real time.

I'm leaning more towards the Nexus but I am not selling my iphone 4 any time soon. I will see to it that this stays free for at least 2-3 month. I'll probly just use Edge on the iphone for 2-3 months mix with some 3G usage on my Nexus and see if charges show up :D In any case, I will keep you guys updated. I definitely hate to not use my iphone though :(
