datamemorysystems.com is a very good RAM vendor used by several posters including myself. This kit:
https://www.datamemorysystems.com/dm61-769-x-3/
is recommended for the uprated CPU Mac Pro and will give you 24 Gb at a very good price. It will work fine with the stock CPU as well.

I've used newegg.com for SSD. If you prefer amazon, try this:
https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-NAND-SATA-SDSSDH3-1T00-G25/dp/B071KGRXRG/ref=dp_ob_title_ce
which is a SanDisk unit. Other brands such as Mushkin are also available on Amazon. newegg.com might be marginally easier to search for exactly what you want.

There are many other excellent vendors out there, I don't mean to push these two exclusively; they are simply the vendors I've used recently and had good experience with.

Re the amazon listing: the 3.5 to 2.5 adapter ought to be fine. You don't need the cable, the unit will plug directly into the Mac Pro's backplane. I used an Icy Dock adapter (listed on newegg) but I don't remember the exact one, and the brand shouldn't matter.

Thank you. I had some very bad luck with newer when I bought my NEC Monitor MultiSync so I won't ever shop there. Try and get a refund it was " I'll take you to court" to get then to give me one. But thanks for the info. I'm just about ready to buy. I know you guys are thinking you should have been ready to by 100 posts back.

That won’t the fact that you can use the same SSD in a Mac Pro. Mac Pro can handle any major brand’s SATA SSD.

So at recommended in this forum DMS will sale me 32GB ram life time warranty 119.00 but there brand of SSD is 325.00 so I guess I'll stick with the sanddisk on amazon for 269.00 But I still may try the Accelsior S 50.00 but with a Sanddisk SSD because that way I have one extra bay to always use in my Mac.
