Agreed, this is the only company I’ve seen that says “if you can”...and “might refund”

So I got my return accepted and got the return address. I haven’t opened or used the case so that probably helped. So back it goes! Really bummed though. Seemed like such a nice case

Did you have to pay for the shipping fee?

You should be posting these experiences on their social media sites. Fight fire with fire.

There’s no reason they should deny it, but that doesn’t mean anything. I’ve said it several times in several threads, it took months for me to get my refund when I bought the original Mous. Imo they are a poor company who spend all they’re money on marketing .

Update: they okay’d me for the refund, but it looks like I have to pay the shipping fee.....

Update, I lost 10+ dollars in the process from shipping.

I will never do business with Mous again

glad you at least heard back from them, i'm still waiting to hear from them after filling out their google form for a return.

I filled out their google form questionnaire they require if you want to return something, this was 5 days ago and have yet to hear back from them. I just sent them another email asking for a response. This is the same exact issue I had way back with the original mous case so they haven't gotten any better with their customer service.

I don't know why I ever ordered from them a second time, I should have known better but I guess I'm too optimistic. Never again, and I would recommend others to stay away.

Well after refusing shipment on my case I emailed them to let them know and they respond back with the tracking number saying it said delivered if I can’t find it to contact the post office . Like duh I told them I refuse shipment and it’s on its way back to them and it shows in the tracking we will see if I ever get a refund luckily I paid through PayPal so if I have an issue I will contact them and see what happens but yes very crappy customer service if you ask me

After posting this I finally got a response. I can return it using "the cheapest method with tracking" but I also need to take a picture of it before I return it. Oh well, at least they finally responded.

Got my refund yesterday. Very disappointed with how they handled the xs line. Some simple retools and they could’ve had many satisfied customers. They went the cheap way though...

Got a perfectly fitting soft clear case from Taobao in early October. High quality and nothing to complain, only for ~$4.5.

I should have gone through PayPal. I ended up losing $10..........

Hi there,

I work at Mous, I've just come across this thread and created an account. You definitely should not have had to pay return shipping for this. Can you let me know your order number and I'll be able to sort this out?

Cheers,

Alex

Hi Alex,

It was me who messaged you on amazon uk with the link to this thread. Looking forward to your reply regarding other issues mentioned in this thread :)

Hi Guys,

I created an account after coming across this thread.

To answer your questions:

We wanted to make sure our case fits both the X & Xs, so people who upgrade don't need to buy a whole new case. We've done the same historically with cases that fit the 6, 6s, 7 and 8 at once.

When manufacturing the cases, we work on pretty much the same information on the iPhone Xs dimensions as the public. The camera size change surprised us and other smaller case companies. We calculated our cases would fit, and tested our case on the Xs and Xs Max on one of the first ever phones sold to the public, by flying to Australia and camping outside the Sydney Apple store.

The slight camera positioning change means it sits lower in the camera slot, but doesn't at all affect the performance of the the phone/camera, or the protection of the case. We're currently looking into how best to have the cameras of both the X and Xs look centred within the slot.

We're updating the packaging for all new models to include 'iPhone X/Xs'. We couldn't have packaging ready for initial shipping because we simply didn't know the name of the phones until launch. In fact we made this mistake with the Xs Max, which our initial packaging has the case labelled as for the 'X+', and our XR cases being labelled for the 'iPhone 9'. We completely misplaced our bets on the names.

I'm very sorry about delays in replies, as you may guess we were completely swamped with enquiries around the launch date! We had thousands of emails coming in over a couple of days, it took us a while to get back to everyone. To anyone who had to pay return shipping, or had other poor experiences with us, please reply with your order number and I'll have your case personally looked into.

Let me know if you've any questions.

Cheers,

Alex at Mous
