It’s interesting they released a new model so soon, it’s only been a year and a half hasn’t it? Apple TV and HomePod don’t get that luxury
Yeah. I can only assume it’s because it is, or at least was, a top priority project for Tim.

Again this is incorrect
Under Tim cook’s leadership it’s a wait and see approach from big screen phones to potential folding phones
Regarding the AVP & future glasses it doesn’t matter what technology is put into it and how many meta sell this category has & will always have a short life span due to logistics and how humans actually are it’s not about the technology inside
Jobs was the one who liked the iPhone small and Apple was accused of being late to the music player business with the iPod, so again you are repeatedly confusing a standard Apple behaviour as something specific to Cook.

This is incorrect as under Tim cook’s leadership there has been a wait & see approach (meaning that let’s see what the competition bring out & if individuals purchase it then wait a few years and say ta dah look how innovative we are from big screen phones
To oled tech & headsets to potentially foldables next
It’s one of the reasons why apple won’t allow you to trade in your 1st generation AVP because then it devalues the product on their website where as if it’s 3rd parties then they can pretend it doesn’t exist

If you're suggesting that Apple trade-ins end up for sale on the Apple Certified Refurbished website - they don't.

It’s to do with value that’s why it’s not for trade in
So if 3rd parties allow it then Apple as a company can pretend that they don’t exist

You can just keep saying it is incorrect as much as you want, but Apple has had a wait and see approach since well before Cook. Your lack of accepting it doesn't bend reality to your will, it just means you don't acknowledge reality.

But that probably works out well for you, as that mindset can get you quite far in 2025.

It doesn’t take a genius to work out
The business model apple has took since Tim Cook has taken over as ceo
And no sort of revision will change that from one mobile a year & one size to what they do now and the list is endless wait and see what sticks from the competition then apply it to our own and the AVP perfectly sums this up meta release a headset it suddenly sells well and then years later apple all of a sudden releases one

So after saying no one wants headsets, you argue that Meta’s headset sells well. Cook is following Apple’s SOP, but it is hard to satisfy people that can’t make up their mind.

I’ve never said that headsets don’t sell
What I have consistently said is this technology companies keep bringing out things for the head and individuals buy them and sales drop off then it goes away and technology companies try again and the cycle continues it’s the reason why the 3rd version of meta’s headset has dropped off a cliff in sales and the exact same with the AVP
And it just sums up Tim cook’s approach as ceo wait and see what the competition do then nick it for ourselves

And I'm saying that you thinking that wait and see is restricted to Tim Cook is completely ignoring that it is the norm for every company, including Apple. The Apple I was not the first home computer; the Mac (and even the Lisa) were not the first computers with GUIs; the Newton wasn't the first PDA; the iPod wasn't the first portable music player; the iPad wasn't the first tablet...

I get that you don't like the AVP, and I even agree that a headset doesn't have appeal to most people, but ignoring the fact that product form factors that are truly unique are so rare as to be unicorns, and that expecting a CEO to come up with them regularly is an improbable ask.

The fact that Apple didn't fall out of favour after the loss of a founder is far better than the majority of companies, honestly. For it to have instead become one of the most valuable companies in the world is a rather major accomplishment for a CEO stuck following in the footsteps of someone that made the cover of Time multiple times, and about whom multiple movies were made after his passing.

But, sure, Tim is terrible.
