no way! that's awesome, lol. I just tried this and now there's 407 left of the T-Mobile 128GB Space Grey.
I think there are plenty of SE’s available. Apple’s not crazy; that’s why they have such huge discounts. It’s going to take weeks to get rid of these phones. There might be more available after these sell out, who knows.

If the 128gb gold or silver Verizon is still available tonight, I’ll order one.

Really need a headphone jack and the larger text would be nice too. If so, I’ll put this 8+ back in box as a back up.

They’re running out of most of the 128GB options, especially the Space Gray. Rose seems to be the least popular color, as it’s still well represented by all carrier options and capacities.

What do you mean by larger text? The text on any iPhone can be enlarged with Accessibility settings.

It doesn't matter which carrier sim is loaded in the phone -- they're ALL unlocked. So as long as the size and color of your choice is available, enjoy!

Despite the seemingly large inventory, they’re going fast. Still a very popular phone despite its aging hardware. Apple would have had no problem selling these for full price had they left them in the stores, instead of pulling them from the shelves. If they hadn’t been sitting on them for 5 months, and wanted to clear them out of inventory for whatever reason, they would likely have no problem eventually selling them all for full price.

While they are unlocked for use with any SIM, it’s not a bad idea to get the model associated with your current carrier especially if it’s a backup, as it may save you a trip to the phone store in the event of loss or theft.

Silver Verizon 128 GB still available.

Yes, @Mac 128 said, if Apple had left these on the shelves, they'd've been snapped up to zero inventory after a month of iPhone XS arrival. There was not going to be any significant cross buying this model and a $1200 delicate darling.

For those concerned about the battery life of these discounted iPhone SEs...

iFixit sells the battery with tools for $30 https://www.ifixit.com/Store/iPhone/iPhone-SE-Replacement-Battery/IF327-004-4

I replaced the battery in our 5s a year ago. The iFixit kit came with all the tools I needed. The only issue was the double sided tape is easy to wrinkle. If I did it again, I'd order a 2nd set of tape.

Thanks.

Well, I have to wait another 8 hours before I can try. If they’re gone, they’re gone.

Lower resolution = larger text without using the Accessibility settings.

I know the Accessibility larger text settings, I hate using that though because it throws off the resolution of non native apps.

Well, if I am meant to get one today (Silver), I will. I do not have my cc with me and only checked on inventory after I left home.

Thanks about the carriers, I was going to stick with Verizon just in case.

Silver 128 Verizon manufactured...2017-02-28. Guess I won't buy a lottery ticket. :)
CoconutBattery says there is 1 cycle and that the info was last updated a year ago. Don't know if that's its max time ago, or if someone charged it a year ago. Capacity is 99.6%. That could very well go up after a few cycles.
It's at 10.2.1! I don't suppose I can get it to 10.3.3. I have an iPad there. Will probably just go to 12.
Nice little display!

While I agree there would not have been any significant cross-buying, the SE might have proved an attractive option for some, who otherwise were only able to choose from a higher-profit margin phone over Apple's critical Q1 holiday season, which as we now know was disastrous for them. Apple likely knew that going into it, which explains why they pulled the SE off the shelves at the 11th hour, even as new units were being assembled and shipped to the US to fill the existing demand.

99.6% is excellent for 2 year old device.

My SE arrived about 20 minutes ago. Battery was completely dead. I put it on the fast charger and after 10 minutes or so, I was able to set it up as a new phone. It has iOS 10.2.1

I'd really like to know the story behind these units. Of all the phones sold at the Apple Store, I'd think the carrier specific models would be the least likely to be sold regularly. And given Apple's just-in-time supply chain, who was ordering all of these units to be held in the store? The carriers? Surely Apple would have used the same model to supply the phones to their stores as well. And if these are coming from the carries themselves as returned stock, who is doing the returns? The carriers, or is Apple requesting them?

If these are coming from the carriers, why are they content to sit on unsold inventory all this time? Are they unable to gauge their own needs to order supply when a model gets low? It's all very strange.

I don't know if we can call it disastrous. They sold 64 million phones at an average price likely above $600. That's serious money, lol

Manufactured in February 2017 it may well be one of the first 128GB units produced, since the refresh was announced in March. How that early batch remained unsold all these years is a mystery.... maybe someone forgot some dusty boxes in the warehouse or this is just a manifestation of poor planning and lack of proper stock management.

My SE was delivered this morning, I will check the battery conditions when I get home, hopefully the wear is not that bad.

I am looking at the 128gb space grey t mobile one. I have an old US Cellular sim. Could I pop that in to set it up no problem and eventually at a later date activate it at my carrier which is us cellular?

Just a heads-up for those of you in the UK, j*hn Lewis carried stock of sim-free 128GB SEs and still has these listed on-line, whereas not currently in stock as 'special buys' for £249 after VAT (20%) which mind you is not bad considering it equals to $325 ;) Myself I picked a silver one up about a month ago, came loaded with 11.4.1 manufactured late September '18..

Which model did you order from apple and did it come with a sim for that carrier?
I ordered the 128GB SG Verizon. It just got done charging to 100% after 3 hours. I am glad the battery still has a great design capacity. I wish I could find an Apple leather SE case. I see Amazon UK has some but they don't ship the case to the U.S. Darn. Just my luck.

Geez, look at how small the usage is by iOS 10. Looks like iOS 12 uses about twice the storage.

I went on US Cellulars website and their is a bring your own device tab. I scrolled to the iPhone SE and it shows that this model number is the compatible number. So any of these phones should be okay on apples clearance site for US Cellular?7A0455A0-ABAF-4DC6-AE79-7134897E0A20.png

All the phones from this current sale have SIM cards from the different carriers already installed, even though they are unlocked.

Picking up a Gold 128gb SE on Wednesday. :) Will keep the 8+ as a back up.

I've been wanting the SE since launch, but my timing was always screwy (when I skipped over it to buy the 7+, and buying an 8+ over the holidays instead of waiting just a little bit longer). Even so, the 8+ and the SE together were the same price as my 7+ new.

8+ will be consigned back to its box come Wednesday evening.

Next, wired headphones that aren't heavy, bulky. Thought I still had a pair of Sonys new.

So I shouldn’t have a problem taking out the SIM card when I get it and popping in an inactive us cell SIM card?
