Just to help any of you recognize this newest batch of fake sport loops. Attached are two photos. The band on the left is fake and the one on the right is real (they are not the same color, because I don't have two of the same):

(1) The fake band has poorly placed velcro and not quite as wide as the Apple velcro strips.
(2) The lugs on the fake loop are painted metal. The Apple one is solid plastic.

thanks for taking the time to make that post, I logged in just to read everything after being alert of frauds surfacing with size markings. As a seller it makes me a bit unnerved and hope buyers aren’t impacted/hesitant to buy used/no box bands.

I think I only have the box to like 1 or 2 of my loops. So long as you know what to look for, you should be good. It might be worth pinning a link to this thread in AppleBandMarket just to give some insight to future buyers!

Why are offers to buy/sell outside the marketplace so sacred, anyways? Mods know other marketplaces exist... right? So long as we’re using one of those, why should they care?
