One person’s scalper is another person’s selling at what the market will bear. Look I’m no free market absolutist or libertarian—as someone said on Twitter, that stuff is just astrology for men—but the ebay seller was clearly happy making their $20 revenue per band minus shipping and fees and selling a sweet NIB $150 msrp item for under $100 all seems pretty ok.

Edit: pure platinum/black Nike+ M/L only 42mm $14 (no pics of the underside but it looks legit enough)
Not suggesting at all that scalping is bad, I’ll be launching my own scalping store with all my excess bands soon enough. My comment was mostly to point out how fast people are turning around their new “inventory”.

Scalping is buying multiples and selling strictly for profit. If I have a single rare band that I don't wear and it's value is above retail. You bet your ass i'm selling for as much as I can.

I agree wholeheartedly! I’m a big fan of capitalism so if the market will bear it then we should charge what the market will bear.

Stone leather loop band 42/44mm $35.00 free shipping

Fake. No markings on the underside, no “Assembled in China” text, and some sort of black markings on the sides. Seller has no reviews either. I’ll pass.

Also, pretty sure OEM medium leather loops have 6 pills between the lugs and loop, while this one only has 5. Would have to check my own to be sure though.

Ok I’ve never seen one IRL.
Great to know.

Agreed. That thing is fake as hell. A decent attempt at a copy, but a fake nevertheless.

Good news and bad news:

Good news: I found and bought a brand new/sealed 40mm Anchor Gray sport loop on OfferUp for $24.

Bad News: It wasn't 40mm, it wasn't Anchor Gray, and it wasn't an Apple band. It was a fake 42/44mm pure black sport loop band.
The green strip to open the box was still in tact, but upon a closer look, they probably went through the other side of the box very carefully, and sealed it back up. Thankfully, OfferUp was very quick to repond to and approve my claim. As soon as the seller gets the band back, they'll send me a refund. They even sent me a return shipping label, so it'll cost me nothing to return it.
In general, I'm not a big fan of OfferUp. I've almost been scammed a couple other times, and at least half of the sellers don't respond to my questions or offers.

Here's what I got:

OfferUp is definitely a coin flip. Though I will say, there are a few good deals on there. I got my Flat Silver/Volt there for $20, Pure Platinum/Black for $20, Denim Blue for $15, Blue Horizon for $15, a Product Red G1 loop for $18, and Black/White for $45. All new.

Blue Horizon for $15???

I have secured my Orbit/Gamma and a Royal Blue SB... I think Horizon is next on my list (after the obligatory Ultra Violet, and Celestial Teal).

I agree. I got a new/sealed Pomegranate Sport Loop for $17, and I'm waiting for a new/sealed Nike Pride Sport Band for $18. Some great prices on OfferUp, but lots of scams and sellers who don't respond.
