Best Buy card does not expire and my understanding is you cannot use gift cards to buy gift cards anymore.
For sure. I’m already testing the system. Best Buy clearly not giving Apple their Pay cut here as I can’t seem to be able to use Pay for the $100 gift card
No matter what down the road ten bucks to Best Buy is great when they have a $32 open box band or whatever or even just ten bucks off the $39 sale price.
I placed several orders on Apple Pay with my Apple Card earlier. That’s an extra 2%. To get it to work proceed to normal checkout and THEN choose Apple Pay under other payment options.

I personally think they will wait to announce it with the iPhone. I'm guessing its the iPad Air and maybe the watch bands... released the bands before the watch?

Bought on my iPhone and yup I have all my $10 gift cards! I did email delivery and immediately loaded to my Apple Balance.
Ok yeah I finally made it work. I was on my iPad earlier and I don’t think it populates the Pay button maybe because user agent is desktop. Dammit Tim!
