Back when Blue Orbit was released, it was originally released/sold through Nike’s website first, which sold out immediately. I wasn’t able to get one. I panicked and bought one on eBay for $99 and then Apple had it available on their site the next day or two after I spent the extra $40. I’d do it again too.
Yeah I’m very curious to see how dramatic they are in person and if you can give them a cotton swabbing. LeLoo pictures always look worse than they are because of the grain and weird reIt’s not really new from the photos. A bit used and stained around the edges. Will post some pics when I get it
Do you condition your LeLoos? I feel like if I don’t hit with them the coconut oil the creaking is out of control.
As for price, if Tox hadn’t found us that pallet of NIB Sunset I would have jumped on this. Cool that he took $100. The one time I offered him on something he countered at the list price but the item was new condition and not this expensive.
I panicked similarly when the winter18 bands were Nike only and were selling out. But I paid retail and getting a second size of olive flak and celestial teal...let’s just say that was a precog MSRP yoink 😉
I wasn’t even interested in any more LeLoos until that Tox deal. He did us a solid and I really like the Sunset. Unfortunately when I would wear it I can also wear the Feu Epsom I got after it and yesterday that’s exactly what I did, so it’s likely gonna stay pretty much perfect, worn three times.
Downside is I’m open to more LeLoos now, but I’m not at the point of collecting them and I don’t want to get there so I’m holding off.
I only have the forest green leather loop and it does creak quite a bit. But I’ve never conditioned it.
Who’s Tox and what was the deal?
@toxtrepla found cases of some pretty rare bands (Sunset LeLoo, Canary of both varieties, ditto Dragon Fruit, Cornflower SBs maybe too?) and it was the last group buy before the, erhm, Reformation, let’s say
Lol I just found a 40mm hibiscus for $20 but it’s on an American only app. Sent it to @athousandbands, so if he doesn’t want it maybe he can work something out with you.
Not exactly a bargain, but Apple UK still has 40mm Spearmint, medium Cornflower and Stone LeLoos and 44mm Smokey Mauve / Particle Beige available. I just snagged Cornflower and Spearmint.
Yeah, I use my mother as my forwarding service so I can snag some UK stuff.

Also the most I’ve paid for bands was $90 for both cargo khaki sport loop and sport band.
I'm new in the band-collector community, and until now I had always purchased my bands at Apple (so retail price). I was too scared to get a fake band if buying e.g. on eBay. But that is changing now that I'm here lol
So far all eBay purchases were below retail. But I'd love a Red Rose and would also pay more for that... maybe I'm lucky one day, who knows! This makes me too angry...

Just had my second bad experience on Mercari. Bought a Stone 44mm band. Everything looked fine, description says good mint condition. Ok. Get it in today, it’s clearly discolored and not good or mint. Very used. Really don’t like people lying. Just put that in the description. Don’t lie and make stuff up.
