Discover Dropping Two Apple Wallet Features

I’m kind of pissed by this because I like that recent transactions I make on my watch or tablet also show up in my recent transaction list on my phone. The only other US credit card that does this is Apple Card.

Is the 'display balances and recent transactions' still only a UK thing?

If so, that utterly bizarre. I use all my debit/credit cards transaction histories feature every single day, so why on earth would this be classed as a "special feature" by banks elsewhere. Dumb anti customer move.

Sadly yes. The only other card that does it in the US is Apple Card.

Don’t know where I could use this globally. Seems to be an american niche card

Discover is supposed to have processing partnerships with JCB, UnionPay, and a few other Asian bank networks, at least. I wonder if any of those deals are at risk now that there's a new owner and they have fewer tourists wanting to come spend money in the USA?
