Who's the manufacturer of the 9CDF display of the 13"? The manufacturer of the 9CF0 one is "00000610".

I think I'm going to return mine in the hope of getting a 9CDF one next time...

Here's an updated profile I made for the 13" 9CF0 display using ColorEyesDisplay Pro and an X-Rite i1 color meter. The previous I think was set to D65 white balance instead of native. This profile seems fairly accurate but some blues may look a little more purple. I've seen this on all laptop displays. It's a compromise with the limited color gamut available.

Unzip the file and the copy the icc file to /Library/Colorsync/Profiles/Displays or ~/Library/Colorsync/Profiles/Displays. The open System Preferences, then select the Displays panel. Then select the Color tab at the top and click on the profile name.

I got mine with a 9CF0 also and agree that the color is comparatively cool than others. I had created a color profiles using the build-in color assistance of MBA and the result is quite good. When compare with bcaslis's profile I think mine is even warmer and look nicer (my impression)
Can someone give me some thought that I could upload my color profile to here to share with your guys for discussion

Right click on the profile you made in the finder and select the compress option. Then post a message here and add the zip file to the attachments section of the post.

best one so far... thanks for uploading :)

I like it a lot with my 17" MBP, but find it MUCH too blue with the 9CF0 of the Air.

Well, it's only made on been tested by me on the 11" display. I have no idea how it's going to work on anything else. But it's free.

Gosh, sorry, I meant the display by CatKingK for the 9CF0. Meant to quote him/her.

I have made another color profile this morning and seems to me is better than the first one. Comments are welcome. Thx

This profile looks fantastic on my 13" MBA. Great job!

Thanks, this one looks great!

Thanks ton, it worked well on my 9CDF too. It's pretty similar to the default profile actually.

I thought the same too - just not the exaggerated look of the default profile, but definitely not hugely different.
