Displaying an iPhone?

I’m finally getting an iPhone 2G. I thought I’d 3D print a stand or something, but there aren’t many good 30-pin docks.

How do you display iPhones? I don’t see this collection getting much larger anytime soon, so I don’t need room to scale it up.

I honestly display mine in the dock that came with the 2G. It's a fine, simple little dock that matches the phone well and showcases one of its original accessories.

Plus, fun fact, it's one of a very small number of devices that says (c) 2007 Apple Computer, Inc. on the bottom given that they changed their name to Apple Inc. that January at the iPhone intro.

That does look pretty good. I’ll have to keep an eye out on eBay for one that’s not insanely priced.

I'd get a mannequin bottom half, put jeans on it from the year the iPhone was made, and have the phone sticking halfway out of the pocket. 😉
