DMV 4/24-5/8 watch orders

I hope so... I got my watch redirected at my work in DC. hopefully I can call UPS and schedule a local pick up if they ever missed delivery.

I did the same thing for the Gaithersburg depot.

I believe you have to go to the order form at the apple store.

You have to sign up for UPS choice and when you go into your tracking number page, it'll give you the option to change the delivery address, hold for pickup, etc. The exact button is "Change Delivery"

Thanks for the reply! I have UPS Choice, but my only options are for UPS store pickup. Usually I can do the sort facility in Hunt Valley. I'll check again soon and see if my options change.

Edit: never mind, found the facility. Woot!
 
Will the customer center give us our packages later today? I don't understand why Apple would enforce a street date of 4/24 when the watches won't be available in stores.

When I put in a request to hold the package at the facility this morning, the automated message said I could pick up my package today. Whether or not that's possible we'll see.
 
Has anybody in this thread received the "We're Working On Your Order" email and received updated info after that says your watch is preparing to ship/shipped?
 
It wouldn't surprise me if they wait to do final scans until after the customer center is closed for the day.
 
Anyone getting it via FedEx?

Just wondering if I should pay attention to both UPS and FedEx at this point, or stick with UPS. Most folks seem to have shipping info from UPS

Mine just stopped over in NJ at 3:32. It now says available tomorrow vs today (was showing this morning)

And I thought I was going to be sneaky and snag it a day early....that's what I get for being greedy

Mine stopped in Jersey at about 2. Oh, well. At least we'll be able to pick it up in the morning.

Still says on time for tomorrow...

It isn't that unusual. Lawnside, NJ is just a stone's throw from Philly. Harrisburg->Philly->DMV is typical.

Yeah, it's just where I am there is a much more direct route. In fact, my 2 orders went differently:
1) Harrisburg->Lawnside->Philly->Gaithersburg
2) Harrisburg->Frederick->Gaithersburg

But both out for delivery now!!!

Picked mine up at UPS Stonecroft (Chantilly VA); no one there at 8:30 AM. No one. Walked straight to counter, had it in under five minutes. (Now, the 'can't wait a second folks could have been there at 8:00:00. :) )

When I did this for the iPhone 6 pickup, there were 20 people in front of me, and it took an hour.

Highly recommend 'hold at CC (customer counter/hub)' for anyone not used to doing this.
