I have to say it is great! I'm actually liking it more than I thought I would.

Oooohhh.. I can't get over to pickup until after work and it's killing me - so I'm wasting the day drooling over unboxings on here.

Soooooooo....how is it?

I'm really digging it! The hard part was setting it down, and letting it charge. Now, since I use a Fitbit for step counting, I'm trying to figure out the best way of switching to the watch to handle that. May not be as elegant in the way it handles it. I may be a bit disappointed in that aspect of it.

Have you noticed much discrepancy in the step counting between the 2?

I'm still trying to figure out how exactly it works, tbh. With my Fitbit One, I can look at the device as I'm walking and see an active step count. Same with its' counterpart app. I can open that while walking and see my step count, and it's updating with each step I take.

With the watch, however, I can find no way of showing my up to the second step counts. All data transfers to the Health app, but not instantly. I've tried looking free 3rd party apps, but thus far they all just seem to echo what the Health app says, with no active steps showing up.

I'll be disappointed if this is the actual way things are handled. Enough to make me return the watch? Maybe. I'll give it time to figure it out more and see how I feel.

I wanted to be able to leave behind my Fitbit, but I don't think that will really be possible yet.

I was looking at the description to pedometer++ and it says something to the effect of : real time measurements from the watch are not yet accessible..

If that's true then third party apps will have to wait until that data is sent over to the phone before they cN display it I suppose... That kind of sucks. I guess it's a case of apple restricting how much access developers have to the watches functions. Hopefully that will loosen up in the future

I saw this, too, as I looked for a decent alternative to the Fitbit way of doing things. I used my watch this morning for my first walk of 5 miles, and had made sure that the Health App was using my watch to monitor my activity. While there is a little delay from wrist to app, it appeared accurate enough to be within about 200 steps of my Fitbit in my pocket.

I had the pedometer ++ app installed, and my steps were feeding just fine to it. It isn't step by step, more like 5 steps at a time, but it was adjusting in real time. The watch glance of the app, I don't think, doesn't update in real time until the phone app opens. Not sure, I'll need to pay more attention to it. So far, exercise #1 with the watch was a success.

still nothing yet still no charge and still in processing, I hope I see some movement today.

I know the two week window is long, but sit tight, you'll be together before long! Lol

Wow forgot to post here. Received mine on Friday and went to pick it up in the afternoon around 12 pm at my UPS CC. Ever since then I've been loving it!
