Absolutely no remorse

I have never had a phone that I was happy with until now. I absolutely love, love, love it. I have had only one app crash, everything else works great! The phone came charged on the day I bought it, but I found that it wasn't until I synced up my music (and thus left it connected to my computer overnight) that the battery now lasts a lot longer.

I already feel a lot less disconnected when I am not near a computer. Maybe that's good or bad depending on how you look at internet addiction and the need for information lol

Black is a fingerpint magnet but I knew that when I chose it. But I just couldn't bring myself to get the white one. The 3G phone itself seems like such high quality compared to my old piece of crap phone.

I knew that if I went with the 8G I would regret cheaping out and I'm so glad I went for the 16GB. No color or size regrets! :D

I'm lovin' it so far. Other than the occasional unexpected app stoppage everything has run quite smoothly. I get solid 3g coverage at work and home, and am having lots of fun using it. It's just begun to sink in what it means to have all this capability available all the time

Hmm, I've been hearing some strange things about Chicago reception. My G1 didn't have any issues there (downtown ,and all around Chicagoland). I'm not there now so I can't say about the new one.

lol, I dropped two calls on Lakeshore Drive today within 5 minutes of each other... something's not right in these parts...

iPhone 3G newbie

I had a pay-as-you go, no thrills Motorola before moving up to this sexy, high-tech gadget no bigger than my hand. After playing with the GPS, downloading my songs from iTunes, taking photos and customizing my contacts, uploading some kool stuff from the App Store (Shazam rocks!!), using the Notes so i wouldn't forget anything, surfing the web, customizing my iPod...and showing a ton of my friends at work- any remorse? H*LL NO!

I have pondered the thought of buyers remorse because I do not believe the iphone or any smartphone for that matter is a practical device.

However, as a luxury item it is a wonderful phone and I am glad I bought it. Only thing I dont like is how ATT forces you into certain plans etc. without letting you really customize anything about what you are buying from them. To me that is robbery but to get the phone you have to deal with them so I will live.

My girlfriend and I both got phones - neither of us had the 1G iphone although I did use it at the apple store many times. I am very happy with the 3G - will mostly use it on wifi, keep 3G turned off to save battery. I am also having trouble getting exchange up and running but once it works I am sure I will be pleased.

I am really impressed with the ideas behind the apps but they are a little buggy right now - still cant get remote to work.

Making your own ringtones is pretty awesome too :D Overall I give it an 8.5/10 - would buy again.
