I think that belts and shoes should still match your cool or warm toned outfit. But in the last 15 years or so, I’ve seen more mix and match with jewelry with some wearing both on the same hand. Or having both colors on the one piece of jewelry. I would wear whatever you want with your watch and don’t give it a second thought.

Ah see, that’s why it looks good then. When i’m Wearing a blue suite with brown shoes I just think the black clashes a bit, but maybe just me. Perhaps I need to have a word with myself!

No word required with yourself. All that matters is that your are comfortable in your own environment. Mine would be different than yours. I own my company and golf type shirts and blue jeans are good for our meetings. When going to a board meeting at one of my customers, I might slip on a suit jacket. Your environment might be different.

For me suits are for funerals.

I go for silver because I’m a silver person. I think that gold can work well with anything as well. I do personally think about what it would’ve been lied to mix silver with gold jewelry and devices. I think with gold you have to be careful because there are different shades of yellow gold. Overall though I think there are no hard fast rules when it comes to jewel tones plus black and white. This is why the colors Apple chooses are generally jewel tones.
