Do I Need A Case?

I have a case on my MBP. It is heavier, but I don't have to worry about setting it down. It also keeps the bottom free of scuffs. It will not 'save' a laptop from a fall, but it prevents scuffs.

I keep a microfiber cloth in my MBP sleeve, and put it on the middle of the bottom of the MBP when i use it for the same purpose. Although I was less scared of scraping when I actually had the case on it.
