Yes. In fact, Apple Maps hasn't improved one iota since release day, at least in my area.

I have "improve maps" enabled on every single one of my family's devices, I report the same dozen or so "map issues" about once a month, but nothing ever changes.

The road I take to work is new-ish (finished 2-3 months ago) and apple maps still has me driving "off-road" for 10 miles. I keep reporting but it doesn't help. Google Maps had it changed within a week of traffic re-route.

Additionally, I can type a part of a POI, or a phone number, or part of an address and GMaps gets it first try every time. Apple Maps doesn't even try to locate it.

I really want it to work. I live, breathe, and live Apple every day, but Maps is still junk.

I prefer Apple Maps to Google for routine driving directions via Siri.

If my intent is to explore a neighborhood in more detail, such as for walking, sightseeing, finding restaurants, etc., then Google seems to be superior.

I enjoy them both.

I'm so angry that the map application that I didn't pay one penny for can't do the one simple task of locating every single thing on the entire planet. Installing the free Google Map app is so much work that I'm just going to buy a different phone instead.

Apple Flyover

Apple have added Durban and Umhlanga (South Africa) to its Flyover feature but no word, website update about it or news.

I have used maps since the IOS6 days, I really don't think it is that bad for my area. I like that it integrates with Siri since voice commands are the best for navigation.

But in my area we are pretty Yelp heavy and we don't get many new roads

I still keep Google maps just in case ;)
