To be honest, since I bought my MacBook in November 2007 I don't think I have used any of the iLife suite to any real extent. I have played with iMovie and done a few videos on youtube. I have played with garage band (but never produced anything with it). I use vi text editor for my web site. And have Toast 9 for DVDs.

iLife vs. iWorks.. umm.. I have Microsoft Office 2008 on my Macbook Pro at work and open office on my personal Mac. No need for iWorks; however, I think an option would be nice to draw more attention to Apple.

I use iPhoto all the time. Love how it organizes my pics into events and really really love the face recognition (though it mixes my 2 sons up constantly) and geotagging features now.

I've used iMovie and iDVD like maybe twice in the last 4 years.

iWeb - never
GarageBand - always have meant to check it out but still haven't gotten to it. I may play around with it now that it has the "lessons" from musicians. Could be just a fun app to play with.

All in all, I appreciate the iLife suite being preinstalled on my computer. Would I like iWork instead? Maybe..... I used Pages quite a bit, Numbers not quite as much but in the end I would still want both suites, so I suppose I would be paying one way or another :p
